What do you need slicks for Baron I havent seen you at any of our events for a couple of years

Yup, I think coz the guy I got it from orders alot of it for his work he probably get a better buy price. My little jigsaw will cut through it just fine, thats what I used to cut the door trims for my last gtr without any issues.

Time to add some aero updates to try and make it more stable at high speeds. Bought a sheet of 3000x1500x2mm for $170 which will be used to make an undertray as the majority of my car is completely open with no floor at all. I'll make it in 3 sections so that the front + rear can be removed if required without having to remove the entire piece. The middle section should take no more than an hour to cut+fit because their is plenty of bracing available but the front section i'll have to add bracing so I can see that taking a few afternoons to complete.

I knew I was in, I deposited the money about 4mins after the thread was created. Just want to see whom else is attending. I have a couple of mates outside of sau interested too so waiting for that to open.

Yup the morning courses were too tight for the car, thats almost the most lock ive ever used (compared to a circuit) so had to learn how it reacted to so much lock. The rear end just had too much grip and kept pushing the car, the front tyres werent even warm let alone sticky. Spoke to Phil Ward at Oran Park on Sunday and he said next time to remove the front sway bar and that will allow it to turn tight corners, thats what they have to do during wet races otherwise they understeer off the track. Was a great experience though, gave me heaps more confidence in the car.

Nice pics. I went out on the Sunday from lunch onwards and i seriously dont understand why these types of events dont attract as many spectators as the v8's.

Yeah I wont make it (mite still come out and spectate depending on what time I finish work). I need new back tyres and I need to fit a couple of new pieces before I take it out next.

Quite a well organised event and had a heap of fun. Even with the early morning rain and late afternoon wind it didnt seem to effect the fun. Knew my little car wouldn't be suited to this type of event but just wanted to see how it would react and the result was predictable. Lots of other cars were great fun to watch, some people were big on handbraking every single cone, others liked to throw the back end around and some just drove it as quickly as they could. If anything I think the only downside of the day was not enough time to actually watch other people compete. Maybe next time instead of having 2 groups on 2 different courses have 1 group at a time and get a set amount of laps then swap to the other group or something I dunno. The first 5 laps will be interesting. Spa is by far the best circuit in the F1 season, close 2nd is Monaco (because its a street circuit).

What is the cost? I could probably be there by 2pm and if it's a quiet day than that would still give plenty of track time.

Whooooo started first go this arvo!! My mechanic thinks ive been trying to kick it over before the fuel pump has had long enough to get some fuel to the engine so I waited an extra 30sec and it started immediately, last time it was started was 3wks ago I added some roll bar padding and 2 stickers That is my only update lol

Girls. Was up at 5am and on the golf course by 6am, 2 rounds of golf at 2 difference courses and home at 7pm
