  1. The Dashware software is pre-configured to detect the data file that is made by the Qstarz so you simply import the file into Dashware then drag whatever gauges you want onto your video screen and it works.
  2. If you mean all the gauges etc then it's just a program that you load the qstarz data file into. Their are dozens of gauge sets available (even clusters from common sports cars) and you can move them around or edit them till your heart is content. http://www.dashware.net/
  3. Well I had a fantastic night at Heasman's. It is extremely rare to get an "all access" entry into a workshop like this so had to take full advantage of it by asking at least 150 questions through the 3 areas. I kept the guys on there feet with all the questions but walked out with a huge amount of new knowledge and i'm sure the guys in my group would agree Some topics that really caught my attention were: - How cheap yet how effective and over looked corner balancing is for a circuit car. A minute change can create a huge difference. - The wheelbase and track settings for even a regular road car alignment which I have never seen a regular alignment shop look at. - The huge number of shims and settings available for shocks - A basic shock being totally upgradable rather than needing replacing. - The temperatures and cavitation of oil in shocks I very rarely get wheel alignments (4yrs gap in my Ute) simply because finding a reliable workshop to do a proper wheel alignment is near impossible but after last night I have now found that new workshop (even if it is a 146km drive and $25 in tolls )
  4. Looking forward to this, I'll be there as soon as the M5 allows me to be, keep the snags warm

  8. hosting is only $1.25/mth at crazydomains
  9. TK said they are still the slowest 4 cars in a straight line.
  10. I agree, I was thinking Moffat Jnr was just another Johnson Jnr.
  11. Mid pack all year then a 1-2 by half a lap, funny how it happens like that.
  12. 1. Reverse your tow car up onto small ramps (you can buy them cheap from a camping store) this will raise the front of the trailer a good 4-6 inches which will lower the beaver end of the trailer 4-6 inches and also lower the pitch of the ramps. 2. Wind down the jockey wheel which will have the same effect as the ramps, but I prefer the ramp solution. 3. Put a block of timber under the end of each ramp so that you drive up onto the timber then up onto the ramp. 4. Buy 9ft ramps (as I previously mentioned a few pages back)
  13. That's a steel steal!
  14. 1. galvanised 2. brand new Light truck tyres (x5) 3. galvanised 4. eBay winch (bought yearly as Duncan previously mentioned) 5. galvanised 6. Number plate on a hinge 7. galvanised 8. dolly wheels under the very back rear corners so instead of scraping or getting the trailer stuck on low driveways it just rolls on the dolly wheels 9. galvanised 10. drop axles 11. galvanised 12. LED lights 13. galvanised 14. make sure the inner guards are covered so rocks don't flick up from the trailer tyres and scratch your doors
  15. Nice work, great idea. - I think it would look nicer if it was maybe 25% wider ? - Should the same person be able to enter multiple lap times for the same car? I know some people that would have 100 laps that are faster than the current quickest for tracks that could flood the entire records.
  16. They were at the MotorEx show a few weeks ago in Sydney, prices were in the 7's from memory.
  17. I bought the G27 the day that F1 2010 was released for PC, played it about 4hrs that Friday night then put it back in the box never to be touched again. Was planning on selling it but may need to hold out until F1 2013 Classic Edition is released...
  18. Should I be saying now "I told you so" ?
  19. looks fine, go for a drive around the block and see how it feels when sitting and turning the steering wheel.
  20. I agree
  21. No I don't believe it will fit. Measure your car from the very front to the very back, then measure the width of it. Having the front cover will reduce the amount of over hang you can have at the front and likewise having foldup ramps will also reduce all the rear overhang you can have there too. Actually I don't think you will be able to have any trailer that has fold up ramps.
