  1. Picked up a new tow vehicle today, well business vehicle but it will tow my trailer/aussie car much better than my 9yo Hiace (64kw). Just a 2004 Hino Dutro 5000 4.6L 114kw 430nm. Has a 3.9m pan which is large enuff to fit my aussie car but too much hassle getting the damn thing in there so i'll just use the pan to bring every tool I own to the track, a set of tyres and my sleeping bag
  2. Any bingles?
  3. Too late Mr Baron, picked myself up a '04 Hino Dutro with plenty of grunt
  4. Have truck + car trailer if you SAU teams need a way of getting tyres + equipment there or bringing damaged r31 front bumpers back home.
  5. Don't spose you wanna lease it to me Mr Baron for the next couple of years? (I aint kidding)
  6. Ideally that's how i'd like to tie down my 600kg vehicle but mounting the d-rings to 2mm floor won't work as it's likely to rip it straight off the frame underneath or atleast try to. Need to work out a way of mounting the d-rings to the floor, suggestions?
  7. lol my Hiace has the pedal to the floor empty with just me in it, dreading when I have to pull 1100kg with it
  8. Possible to get a google maps link for each of the hillclimb events for those of us whom have never been?
  9. Will you lease it out?
  10. So if the vehicle is 1000kg you would use 2x 800kg straps (or 2x 400kg = 800kg straps?) tieing down the back to stop forward movement? I'm not really worried about the capacity of the straps as for anything with a decent quality ratchet they are all 2500kg.
  11. Their are a couple of places in the Peachtree area of Penrith, 1 is Eddie at Penrith City Exhausts (whom also says the Bonds kits arent the tightest fit) and the other im not sure of the name but its whom CRD send all their cars to.
  12. Hook and keeper or s-hook ratchets and why? My tie down points (eye bolts) are suited nicely for s-hook but not at all for hook and keeper style ratchets. I could use a d-shackle to make it ideal but I see plenty of s-hook style ratchets that are easily rated above what I need.
  13. Yup Rubens gone but Jensen still there, should have got 2 new rookies that will give it a go.
  14. Yup x1 spectation.
  15. I just bought a 3000lbs (1360kg) electric winch off ebay for about $90 delivered, but then my car is only 600kg so you'd want maybe a 3500lbs just to be safe.
  16. it was almost double the price he told me...
  17. As much as id like to see anyone kick Louise's ass the sport badly needs him right now.
  18. Might be time for me to drop down and see what deal they can do me on a VW Crafter....
  19. Neil you mean it's wrong to drive the wrong way up pitlane? But I seen a well known tv personality/instructor do it last weekend in his ute so it must be ok....
  20. What makes u think he would need some vaso?
  21. Yup the day I picked up mine he got the aluminium delivered, bit expensive for me though

    Suzuki Swift Cop Car

My mum has the sports model, the clutch is so light that I stalled in twice in the first 100m it was embarressing (especially considering her driving school business is advertised all over it). Once you get some revs into them they are actually quite a zippy little car and fun to drive.
  24. I took it for a lap around the block whilst I was doing a delivery in your street today Fatz, goes alright.
  25. You get the shifter thrown in for free?
