  1. Steve posted a youtube clip of me above, a very fast lawnmower!
  2. Budget atleast $30k, anything under and it's backyard made and looks like it would fall apart...
  3. He was going off at the officials because of the way they 'scrambled' the safety car even though his own driver overtook the safety car whilst it's lights were on without being called through (and came very close to side-swiping it) so I see no problems with Todd Kelly getting his drive-thru actually I believe Lowndes should have got a drive-thru also.
  4. I could always just go to 'towie' and buy them from him, but i'd rather know what they are called and an approx price before walking to for those thingies to find they are $1k each. Yup D-Rings would be the other option for me (much cheaper too at about $20ea). Being a 1 piece fiberglass shell I can't exactly use it as tie down points, everything is located underneath. Edit: I thought the dented sic car was the chinese copy bodykit you are having fitted to go along with all your other chinese parts?
  5. Anybody know what these tie down devices are called or where they can be purchased from?
  6. The standard brakes are ok for a completely stock car, but you have doubled the power so you will definitely need to upgrade those stockers, even if it's just a basic set of G4's.
  7. HRT would have been better off staying home at Melbourne for the week.
  8. Great track, every corner has overtaking opportunities, it's very open and wide and their is actually room in the pits. Makes all our tracks look like goat tracks.
  9. I'm liking this other commentator, gives it that BTCC sound, way better than Mathew White anyhow...
  10. Race 2+3 shortly...
  11. That was a crazy race, more like it please. The biff at the front in the first 2 laps for those drivers was incredible. Skaife once again caught up in other peoples crap (summary of his past 2 seasons which has ultimately resulted in him quitting). Winterbottom having too much of a go, Larry finally having a go and the safety car not knowing when to go.
  12. Bahrain this weekend, tv coverage is whack: Friday Race 1 - 11.20pm–12.50am Saturday Race 2+3 - 10.30pm–1.30am Sunday Repeats - 2pm–5pm
  13. I'm not bitter at all, Webber + RBR just fail to capitalise on races where some of the top runners have problems (penalty, retirements or wet weather) when he should be claiming a 5th or 6th, not battling for 8th or 9th like he does every other week. Next year we will see if Vettel was fast only because of the Ferrari TR or if he genuinely has pace which will also allow us to see if Webber is being held back by RBR or if RBR is being held back by Webber.
  14. This is all I need (dimensions etc) and its 1/4 the price of brand new.... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...bayphotohosting
  15. The bigger the shed the bigger the mess, thats my theory anyway Then again my neighbour has 2 double garages (1 either side of his house) for his 3 cars but then decided that wasn't enough room so built another double garage in his backyard as his dedicated workshop for his 67 Camaro. I on the other hand have a completely car-less double garage just waiting for my new project to arrive
  16. Webber will get his ass spanked by Vettel without a doubt. As said above Webber is content on just finishing races then blaming the poor performance or bad strategy and with DC nowhere to be seen (back of the field) nobody could say otherwise. Next year with Vettel showing the true pace of whatever RBR has to offer, Webber will have to lift his game or his career will be the same as Button's (only has a seat because he is well known, not because he is fast).
  17. If the stupid things weren't so damn expensive to hire I wouldnt bother buying 1 for the extreme limited amount of use it will be getting grr...
  18. ...and is now the most expensive sports person in the world
  19. http://www.formula1.com/news/interviews/2008/11/8642.html Q: Were you taking it easy on the final lap? TG: Absolutely not! It was completely the opposite; the final lap was one of the hardest laps I have done in Formula One because there was no grip at all and on dry tyres it was almost impossible to keep the car on track. I was pushing really hard to keep fourth place and if you look at the lap times I was actually faster than Jarno on the final lap and he was the only other car on dry tyres at that stage. I agree with BB in that Homo didn't "win" the WDC, he simply had more points at the end of the season and came first. Re Points: I believe that the points system should go to atleast 12th if not 15th. You have drivers like MW, DC, RB, JB whom always finish around 10-12th but never get rewarded, then you have drivers whom might have 1 good race out of an entire system and end up with more points. Extending the points system would create more mid-pack rivalry instead of just the top 2 teams battling it out. I wonder what next years tv coverage will be like now that ITV is finished...
  20. I'd re-sit the whole of yr12 just to take her to my formal....
  21. I think the last 2 laps of this race was the first time i've ever bashed my fist on my desk and swore whilst watching F1 and all of it was at Vettel to overtake Hamo only to see Glock ruin it for everyone
  22. ugh work time cyas.
  23. Great, another 10mins of Rusty
  24. Ripper look at that rain pissing down....
