  1. Hamo has no chance now, he will be lucky to get a single point.
  2. It's generally a little bit behind...... I hope
  3. Look on www.formula1.com and click on the 'convert to my local time'.
  4. 9pm is when the pre-race starts, 1hr before the race.
  5. Bahh why bother, watch the 1hr pre-race on the streaming then go to bed with the race recording
  6. Well I only decided 48hrs before this event that I was going to attend so I could spectate. But after spending 30mins freezing on the grid checking cars before entering the track and freezing my ears and nose off I thought the best way to get warm was to go and sit in a car...racing around the track. Was great to see so many new faces on the track, hasnt been like that for a good 3yrs. Considering the track condition for the first half of the day I was quite surprised to see so little excursions into the mud. Some awesome cars out on track and some decent lap times. For the newbies that have now got the bug and are thinking how they can get more power out of those RB's just consider this: I spent about 25 laps in a 383awkw R32 GTR with no expense spared under the bonnet, rollcage, brembo's, wide tyres yada yada yada and I also did about 10 laps in a R33 GTS-t with about 180rwkw in a fairly standard run of the mill RB25 and they did the exact same laptimes. You do not need bucket loads of power to get fast laptimes, you need decent suspension + brakes and a nice set of semi-slicks and then just pleeeeenty of experience going round and round and round.
  7. It was great. Massa cracked them good!
  8. Just remember when driving down..... Goulburn is the cadet training centre for the NSW Police Force, so they will look for any target they can find to pull over and practice on. If the office asks for a test drive of your car don't fear, it's just my mum being a smartass!
  9. Practice Session 1 is on right now: http://www.coresworld.net/F1/
  10. I haven't gone out to physically look/sit in seats just getting an idea of what brands/models to look at. I need to get a seat+harness for when I take my car in to get caged up so he can fit it all at once but i've spent $2k on tools and $1k on engine bits in the last 3wks so that could be a month or 2 away yet lol I'd be happy to sacrifice difficulty in getting in/out of car (with side intrusion cage bars) caused by higher sides on the seat if it meant it would hold me in position tighter.
  11. I will probably meet you along the hwy somewhere...
  12. Hrmm interesting ok Racer Industries have the XXL GP-90 for $748.
  13. Where is the list of people driving down saturday morning?
  14. What is a half decent fixed back "big bloke" seat for a dedicated circuit car just for private trackdays? It's easy to find decent cheap (about $750) seats for regular jap sized blokes but none that will fit a real aussie bloke grr
  15. What is the right way to go?
  16. I have them available, and will probably be at Goulburn on saturday spectating at the trackday if you want to drive up?
  17. x1 spectation.
  18. T04Z, Jun pump, 044, gasket kit - anything like that?
  19. Nice work Steveo good to hear its back on the road, I hope to have mine done by Xmas. Should I bring a broom for Wakefield this weekend or will you be able to contain yourself?
  20. ...and 0.4L right Steveo?
  21. New it can be bought for around $900. Yes PWR do make awesome quality radiators however they certainly aren't without the typical manufacture faults (i've seen a couple missing complete welds).
  22. When the flag drops the bullshit stops....
  23. Wasn't going to spectate at this trackday however i've just realised my parents will be up here (Penrith) staying a night at my place which means there place in Goulburn will be vacant - hrmmm that sounds like a fair swap for the weekend. If I do end up going down I can help out Abo.
  24. Not sure if it has been mentioned already but it would be good if their was some kind of indication on the car if the actual owner of the car is driving, maybe some kind of colour sticker system on the windscreen.
