  1. I seriously can't stand him, he takes his job way too seriously and just needs to relax (or even fire up abit like Crompto does) it's almost like he is commentating races from a script.
  2. That's what I mean though, if they had TC would all these mistakes still have happened or would the TC have taken control. Normally their are a couple of drivers that have constant grass excursions but practically every single driver did on most laps of practice.
  3. Lots of mistakes so far in the 2 practice sessions. Do you think its due to traction control banned or is it just the cars settling in on the first race of the season?
  4. I knew Craig for almost 10yrs and only days before he passed away he took time out to help me with my RB30 build. I'll be there.
  5. Cliff Drive. It starts at the bottom of 'Leura Mall' and runs along the cliff face down past the '3 Sisters' then continues on past 'Skyways' and joins onto 'Narrowneck Rd' which basically joins up to the Highway again. Thr whole 'detour' is probably about 3-4km worth and on a weekend is very busy with tourist buses. The only problem with that is their are plenty of little spots to stop to take photo's but only enough room for 1 or 2 cars. Gawd you can tell i've been a courier in the area for 4yrs lol.
  6. They have fixed up parts of the road (where the little bridge hairpins are) since the last cruise. Also it might be worth giving the Heritage Centre a call and see if they have the draught horses available or even whip cracking, they are less than a km past the tearooms on the left. Pity that pretty much all the roads beyond the tearooms area are dirt roads because there are some wicked long twisty roads that roll through the hills (especially on the western side) the furthest i've been out there is 9km from the tearooms for a delivery in my van and the views on that side of Megalong Valley are amazing (Lithgow area).
  7. I wish someone would fix my head issues....
  8. Hopefully whilst they build him a new car they put a new paint design on it, the FPR cars have got to have the cheapest looking paint scheme in the entire field for such a front running team.
  9. Hrmm so the only requirements are a cams license and cam approved car? (got a url for this service?)
  10. Typical questions? Obviously mechanics, smash repairs, tyre/wheel centre's and private/comp drags + circuit + drift + skidpan would be fine?
  11. How do you organise driving the vehicle to/from mechanics etc. Do you have to ring anyone? Do they ring your mechanic/whomever to confirm you have a booking etc or? ie can I just jump in my race/rally rego'd car and drive to wsid on a wednesday night or do I have to ring up 3mths in advance and get approval from someone?
  12. Interesting weekend of racing. HRT couldn't launch off the start to save themselves, Davison walked away with it and FPR squashed their car in half. Bring on the F1GP weekend!
  13. 1 of the jap brands makes a really nice looking alloy battery box, that or just a regular plastic battery box im sure would do fine.
  14. That was half the problem with the show, they either didn't show each competitor do there run or they didn't show each competitors results they just showed a cut-down of the entire event and then announced a winner.
  15. "You need a sign that says stop here lebo" haha best line of the series.
  16. Sorry but Lancers are not allowed in the garage.
  17. The second meetup is at the m4 servo's, that's only 15mins from Penrith.
  18. 282kw rofl you should upgrade to a 180B!
  19. The tall guy constantly eating sausage sandwiches..... that was me!
  20. Sorry I no longer fit into my mini skirts...
  21. If "pit crew" are welcome than someone hire me NOW!
  22. I don't mind being introduced....
  23. Weather was 100% perfect! On track action was great, pleeeennty of tough cars about. They still lack abit of organisation, yes it was way better this year than previous years but their is still way too much time between events. Something they seriously need to do is either make the sat nite burnouts start earlier (I left at 11:30pm and the line had barely moved) or they need to order all the tough cars up the front so the crowd isnt watching VL's with blown turbo's spray oil everywhere. Hopefully my car will be on the road this time next year to participate in the cruises.
  24. Can't believe it's taken me this long to discover a thread about promo chicks like omgwtf!
