  1. You sure Kinchrome don't sell the torx bit?
  2. Check my post above, it absorbs any vibration through the wheel.
  3. The bracket in the middle at the top is where the little metal piece would normally sit, I had it removed completely and noticed no difference in feel of the wheel when driving.
  4. That was all 3.
  5. The 'clunking' will be a 2inch piece of metal that is bolted to the center top part underneath the airbag which is designed to act as a cushion for the steering wheel, it's held in by 2 screws. These tend to snap off and clunk around inside the wheel everytime you turn corners. I got Unique AutoSports to fix mine about 3yrs ago, if you are doing it yourself remember that you are playing around with an airbag.
  6. Not sure how u'd drop 19kg when I weighed my entire harness earlier at 15.5kg. I'm sure you could drop an easy 5kg from just cutting wires off you don't need, maybe 10kg if you did custom wiring from scratch. Also, I have a 100% bare interior + engine bay shell with all removed parts sitting in the garage so if anybody needs something weighed...
  7. My entire wiring harness weighs 15.5kg
  8. He was using the bear to advertise a charity (kids with cancer??) which is why he had the bear in his hand everytime they cut to the incar camera.
  9. Hrmm I need to buy an angle grinder...
  10. Morris was quite funny on the radio, im sure the same happens in V8SC only we never get to hear it
  11. What engine bay parts have you guys removed apart from ABS?
  12. It was nice of ch7 to broadcast this however I find it annoying to watch. When they compress 12hrs into 3hrs it's like watching a movie in fast forward. I'd rather they show the first hour and the last 2hrs of racing so that you can actually follow it properly without constantly skipping parts.
  13. Where: * Glenmore Park Estate near Penrith (2km from M4 Motorway) * Woolies + Servo + Take-away shops nearby (1km) * Major retailers + Westfields nearby (2-5km) * Very quiet double cul-de-sac street with friendly neighbours (well except for Buster) What: * Large single story house (owned by my parents) * Fully furnished * Ducted aircon + heater + ceiling fans * 3-way bathroom big enough to swing a cat * NO PETS * NO DRUGS Why: * Sister + her son moved out into her own place * Parents moved out 4yrs ago * Depending on if any of my mates move in I will have 1 but maybe up to 3 bedrooms available Unfortunately the double garage is taken by a pair of R's so their is no "secure" parking or undercover parking, however enough room in driveway + front lawn + street to park another 2-3 cars. Area is extremely quiet, never heard of a single break-in or car theft in the entire 15yrs i've been here. Would probably best suit a local that wants to move out of home (it's a 1hr trip by train to the city) The rent will be approx $130/wk each which includes water, electricity, gas, Foxtel, 8MBit ADSL, not included is your food + alcohol + strippers.
  14. Tv coverage is 2-5pm Saturday Ch7.

  16. How much sound deadner would be underneath on the rails? I know their is prob 10-15kg worth inside, much underneath worth removing?
  17. www.rocketindustries.com.au
  18. How much weight would generally be removed from doing an acid dip?
  19. www.rocketindustries.com.au can provide drag tyres of any kind.
  20. Low 11's you will need more than 250awkw, actually you will need a solid 300awkw and drive it like you stole it and have 4 spare gearboxes.
  21. From my own experience you have 3 options: 1) Buy a nice clean stock car with maybe an exhaust, filters and boost controller if you are lucky for <$20k (certainly can be done they are around if you look) - been there done that even with an 89 model. 2) Spend $25k and get plenty of bolt-on mods but with a standard motor, in as clean a condition car as you can find (also been there and done that too). 3) Spend $30k and get a rebuilt motor with bolt-on mods. However do remember that just because you have a 'rebuilt' motor doesn't mean it's a guarantee that you will have a trouble free engine for your lifetime. Their are plenty of people on this forum that have spent $10-20k on a rebuilt motor only for it to die a few months later. I personally wouldn't spend anymore than $30k outright on an R32, instead would save up an extra year and go straight to a stock R34.
  22. How old/km's are the HKS springs?
