I don't take much notice of these pictures, as if teams are going to spend months behind closed doors developing cars and parts only to then put it all on show for the world to see more than a month out from the first GP so that other teams can copy everything. These front wings and rear diffusers are no doubt 6 months old compared to what they have hidden back at the factory ready for Melbourne.

How will they determine whether a car has been extended too far forward or sideways unless they have a factory panel/frontbar to measure from?

An award for "fastest consecutive 4 laps in a session" could assist in keeping cars on track and spectators in seats. Has anyone got time to go through last years top times and point out which cars would be disqualified under this years rules?
