  1. Some actual details would be nice, including a price.
  2. No rain showing up on the BOM radar http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR033.shtml but then again if it does rain it will be so light that the radar wont pick it up.
  3. Nothing on their website or phone to say that it is off, so I assume its going ahead at this stage. They have only had 0.2mm of rain today.
  4. Bad quality pics because my phone doesn't like nightshots but you get the general idea...
  5. Yeah im the same, drive a 4.5T Isuzu Pantech with barn doors that are have a padlock and I use 2 ratchet straps inside just to hold the freight still (anything up to 300 boxes a day and a few pallets). On monday I seen 2 flatbed trucks within 2km blocking traffic due to losing their loads, couldn't think of anything more embarressing.
  6. I had a GReddy oil relocator fitted to my car last week and with all the extra crap in the gtr we couldnt find anywhere neat to mount it on the strut tower like most people do, we ended up fitted it below the engine right next to the sump drain bolt with a little custom bracket. I'm glad it ended up this way because their would be nothing worse than having a relocator fitted only to have oil piss all over the place because it is mounted upside down, that kinda defeats the whole purpose of it, if I wanted to make a mess I would have just left it where it is.
  7. Shop around where? I look 6 days a week on ebay, sau, import shops and friends and they still aren't cheap. I'll probably be picking up an RB30 block next week and going the 26/30 route.
  8. Really? I was thinking the opposite, fast and flowing with plenty of run-off area.
  9. I went for a sticky beak late last night and the quality of cars has certainly picked up, don't think their were any fully sick stock SX Corolla's with 18's - everything was custom with plenty of engine mods.
  10. I've been casually looking for an rb26 block for over a year and even on ebay they all seem to fetch over $700 with machining required or for a prep'd ready to use block they are $1500.
  11. Tuning: Penrith - Hitman Girraween - UniGroup Seven Hills - Unique AutoSports Service: Blackheath - Steve's AutoBahn Springwood - Springwood Car Care Penrith - Waterhouse Auto Care Unique AutoSports would be the furthest west that could do it all for you and are import specialists. The others mentioned above have worked on plenty of RB's but are general mechanics, not import specialists. I've just had my mechanic (Waterhouse Auto Care) do a 100k service on my r32 gtr this past week without any issues.
  12. Good luck in getting an RB26 block for under $600 in any condition, they are generally between $750-1000. Then again I have a '94 RB26 block that has both bottom bellhousing threads snapped off that I will probably have to throw out.
  13. 60ft?
  14. No drags planned for 30/11.
  15. The cleanest engine bay i've ever seen on an import was done with Mr Sheen.
  16. Who wouldn't want a nice new engine to replace the tired 15yo used and abused engine, I know I would.
  17. Marsss couldn't do a burnout like that, I mean c'mon have you seen that bloke lately?
  18. Any pics of the sony headset and charger?
  19. What required in the rebuild? What is included? What year model engine?

    Cops

Your friend didn't get pulled over for a RBT, he got pulled over because the police wanted to inspect his car. The "this is a RBT" line they use is just the reason they give you for pulling you over when you have done nothing wrong whilst driving along.
  21. drunken poofs
  22. I'ma bringing 2 sex's!
  23. thats a big list of tossers!
  24. It's only brake dust, yes dust - so just soapy water and a wheel cleaning brush (kenco as mentioned above) is all you will ever need.
