Meh all this talk about bigger turbo's and $10k her n there... you've had the car how many weeks and done how many runs? Just throw on some M/T drag radial tyres (on stock R32 GTR 16x8 rims) make sure your clutch is good and go do 20 runs with 7000-8000rpm launches and watch your time drop after each run. I'm sure just from practicing you would cut a 12sec flat and probably spend less than $1000 for rubber and entry fee's. If your still in need of abit more time throw on a set of adjustable cam gears + poncams for $850 (business trading section) get them fitted and your ecu retuned and do another 20 runs.

I fueled up next to the HRT/Lions Den semi today in the blue mtn's, speed wheels has afew trailers going along with about 30 cops on motorbikes and vans all heading up along with about a dozen motorhomes etc. Tomorrow is when I expect to see most of the interstate teams travelling over the mtn's.

You'd need to easily halve your asking price on that for it to leave your hands...

Give it another year with some decent power and km's to determine if the JJR's can last, but for $100 difference mite as well just go the Splitfires.

the exhaust temp goes thru the floor directly under the passenger seat, the wiring runs across the front rail over the tunnel under the driverside front seat and down your right leg into all the wiring.

It'd take more than 20 to compare to me, I think i'll hide her at home for the weekend instead of trackside.

I went on Saturday and I must say the scene has really stepped up a notch, semi trailer transporters, cars covered in sponsors, way less damaged cars left in primer its really good to see this sport lifting and gaining interest of the corporate world and spectators.

Good suggestion on going down to Megalong Valley huh....

I got to the track right on 6pm and my mate says "I dont see pauls car" just as I hear the very distrinctive RB26 hauling ass up the track and im like "thats coz he's on track, run!!"

It's actually only about 25km past Katoomba (or about 13km from Blackheath) and the last 12km is extremely tight and narrow as the road snakes down the mountain into the valley which once at the bottom has absolutely amazing views of the high cliffs of the Megalong/Katoomba area. At the bottom is just a very small cafe but apart from that their is nothing at all to do there. Road down to the valley Base of the valley A Heritage farm with demonstrations etc (admission price required) View back up the mountain cliff

In route pending... I work between Penrith and Mt Victoria every day so apart from the actual highway their isn't really anywhere worth going on a 'cruise' unless you go to the coffee shop down in Megalong Valley.
