I thought it was you joe. I left wsid at 9:15pm and drove the entire length of the GWH to penrith which included going through the intersection of the fatal crash (looking for cheap petrol, didn't find any) and didn't see 1 single copper. I also didn't see any cops at the roundabout as seen on the news which I always lookout for because it's a known hiding spot so maybe they got there abit later than 9:15pm (most people would leave at 9:30-10ish I assume.

Here is tonight's 6pm news report, mainly going on about a speeding sting to/from WSID, 2 skylines booked for speeding and footage of another racing on the track:

Actually the marks weren't very strong at all, certainly not any worse than the marks I left on the M4 at 100km/h 1 morning on the way to work.

My mechanic changed an outer CV boot using a generic item over a year ago without any issues. I think from memory he got it from Bursons.

sav_man search youtube their is a clip of the last 8 laps (my recording stopped with 8 laps to go). As for the race, well the first 3 laps were fantastic but I couldn't believe what happened with the race red flagged. I don't agree with Hamilton being allowed to continue after being assisted by a tractor (even though his engine was kept running) if he got out and pushed his own car back to the track surface then fine go for it but to be assisted out of the sand by a tractor is just totally wrong. I also don't agree with him being allowed to overtake whilst under a safety car. Nothing against Hamilton I think he has a very bright future, I just don't agree with those 2 rules. Kimi was unlucky to finish with a mechanical failure however he was even luckier to be where he was when it did happen, if the race wasn't red flagged he would have been another Hamilton scenario. I'm quite surprised that Webber ended 3rd, I didn't think his car would last, I thought he would spin in the rain and I also thought that DC would get past him. It is great that he got a podium finish, anywhere in the points in any race is an achievement for RBR.

Yup interesting qualifying sessions. Coulthard is back in 20th, Hamilton in 10th that will make an interesting first stint for the race with these 2 trying to come through the pack. Finally we will see if Hamilton knows how to overtake and start with cars infront of him on the grid. Hopefully Webber will learn to have the widest car on the track but my guess is he will be 10th by the 2nd corner anyway and then finish 13th due to have a visit on some grass.

Ah goodie was about to create a thread like this myself, the more pics the better from any angle of any car as im getting ideas for my current build. I damaged my r32 gtr drag racing so I bought another street gtr and have decided to keep this damaged 1 as my dedicated circuit car. So far im only in the process of stripping it down (prob another week or so of that) then I need to weld up the damage, paint the interior, boot and engine bay and get some and then start assembling it again. Nothing exciting but here are some pics of where im at so far: Hopefully it's back on the road by Xmas time.

Next wednesday will be good as im pretty sure their is a TestnTune this weekend which means some decent fresh rubber will be put down on the track.

Do you know what year model gtr's they are out of?

It has rubber inserts between each track so that no damage is done (although it still rips up dirt and grass quite nicely). I went on that black 1 at the FairField show around Xmas time when they had the Monster Trucks there.

I'm surprised the theif got it that far, considering that his warehouse is opposite a bikie's headquarters and he is very good mates with all the bikies.
