1. Drift is essentially only in it's 2nd year (meaning lack of sponsors/money). 2. Generally the only people that attend the events are already in the loop (ie advertising is extremely low). 3. Australia's race tracks are barely surviving as it is for the premier category (V8SC) let alone anything else. 4. The entire field (from comentators to drivers) are full of unknowns outside the circle of people in the know.

Just throw it up on Ebay as everybody already knows about ebay and all the payment and listing stuff is already taken care of. Would beat setting up a whole new domain/website whilst trying to get traffic to it.

With 130mm of rain in the 2 days leading up to the weekend the only spectators would have been the die hard fans rather than the general public, why pay $55 for a ticket to stand in rain when they could watch it in the comfort of their own lounge room. Had it been a typical sat/sun meeting their would have been only half as many spectators again. The sooner ticket prices come back down to reality (~$30) the better it will be for everyone.

2 reasons why attendence was down; severe weather leading into the weekend (spectators had to park at wsid instead of around the track on the grass hills) and an adult ticket price of $55ea (lucky I had free corporate tickets)

- Damaged 1994 R32 GTR Rolling Shell. - Complianced and with approx 6mths rego. - Not listed as damaged or a writeoff. - Original white in VGC. - ~85,000km. - Interior in VGC. - Located in Western Sydney near Penrith. $5,000 Damage: Had a standard flywheel explode at 8000rpm which damaged my firewall, both front chassis rails, passenger inner + outer guard, engine, gearbox, drivers floorpan, heater + a/c boxes, hicas + brake lines, very minor wiring harness damage. The entire engine bay has been stripped (parts stored in boxes) and the dash has been removed (parts in boxes) ready for a panel beater to take over. Not included: Damaged engine, damaged gearbox (optional), front seats, ecu, tein coilovers (stock coilovers included), airfilters + afm's, clutch or flywheel, avcr. I do already have interest however thought I would post it up here anyway because I need it gone. It is certainly something you would need to see in person so that you can assess the damage yourself. Would suit (being converted to a race car) or somebody that is a panel beater or mechanic as most of the repairs are labour intensive (told it needs a frontcut to be done properly).

It would be a fairly cheap trackday, won't chew up any tyres or brakes and prob only use half as much fuel.

I find it weird how many drivers dont use their headlights in wet weather, he headlights have 2 purposes, to see and be seen yet many drivers forget this. During my usual 250km of travels today I was doing some random counting in the Blue Mtns this morning and it was about 40% of cars without any lights on at all which is a very high number.

I don't know why but Newcastle seems to attrack big disasters. Who remembers the earthquake back in the late 80's (I think). I was swimming in the beach at the time only to realise patients of the hospital being pushed down the hill on their beds, abit puzzled I asked mum why only to find out an earthquake just occurred.

Can anyone tell me exactly where the oil pressure is taken from, or the oil sender or what it looks like etc? My new car the gauge is all over the place but like mentioned above if its sitting idle for a minute or so the gauge will drop to zero but the light is not on.

Yup the best engine bay ive ever seen was at our SnS a couple of years back and all he used was Mr Sheen (forgot his name but im sure he is on the forums).
