  3. Engine/Car: R32 GTR with RB26DETT Type of failure: main bearings shredded, particularly 3 and 4 Factors influencing the failure: hmmm.. it was an oil starvation problem.. either my oil pump has failed or the remote filter/cooler has blocked. State of tune of the engine: was on the dyno getting tuned at the time ~215awkw Suspension and tyres: whiteline kit and azenis rt215 Oil used and service interval: was using shell oil changed every 5000
  4. i just had a problem with my install... its important not to put the sock too close to the bottom of the cradle! make sure there is about a 1cm gap. my pump started to make this horrible moaning noise all the time and couldnt delivery enough fuel for the motor.. turns out it was trying to suck the bottom of the cradle up through the pump.. hehe i shifted it up a little bit, and now its fine again.
  5. youre supposed to laminate over the top of it so that the stains stay! you split coffee on it, right? heh

  9. as of this year they are only running the buladelah event once a year now, which is a shame... but, i think the more variety of locations for these events the more fun there is to be had.
  10. i have bunch of old emails with some contact details from the east coast targa folk, if thats useful...
  11. Hey All I have 10 of these coil packs that I dont need. 6 of them just came out of the gtr and I consider them all to be in good condition. i would sell the full set of these for $150 + postage, or $30 each I also have 4 left from my old gts4, which I am not so certain about condition. I know there is one faulty one in there. I would like $15 a pair for these coils. If I give you 2 of them, you should get at least one good one The coils are located on the northern beaches of sydney. PLEASE PM ME, I WONT BE READING THIS THREAD REGULARLY!
  12. would prolly swap it for a case of asahi! heh bump!
  13. all the stock looms and parts are still used.
  14. i have one sitting on my desk infront of me right now... it doesnt replace anything at all. you get a little bronze coloured box and a wiring harness (i purchased the BNR32 specific harness). the harness intercepts the TPS wiring to get power, and the wiring between the stock transistor pack and the coils. i can post pics when i get home from work where my camera is.
  15. what are your rear subframe bushes like?
  16. ive installed an 044 in my 32gtr, and i have to wait for it to prime before it will start also... doesnt bother me.. i figured the fuel is probably draining back through the pump after it stops running or something.
  17. put me down +1 pls nick
  18. hmmm.. mister Youngy there has gone quiet.. bump any offers at all??
  19. you can still drive it. it will affect your steering and braking. its not a huge problem, but its a good idea to replace it. i replaced a set on a friends r33 a few weeks ago.. the new bushes were about $160 from noltec (part number N81707). you should go talk to your mechanic about having them fitted as you need some specialised tools.
  20. you have popped a radius arm bush they are fluid filled
  21. whoops.. didnt see that reply until today! its still for sale... please PM me if your interested
  22. that is indeed what they look like.. i installed mine back in feb. there are some issues with them.. see lwells' post on the previous page
