Thats because geoff quoted with fitting and painting (for a good job). If it's a fibreglass front bar for example, I was told by a panel beater that they are difficult to fit, and should allow $400 JUST for fitting the front bar. A good proper job, will most likely also consit of a proper blending job on the panels, which means more labour on removing and replancement more prepping, more painting ect ect.. It all starts to add up.

yep. These bastards underpay me for the work that I do, have been cutting back my hours, f**king up the roster without telling me.. AND worse of all they signed me up for a traineeship, so that they could get about 4k worth of government incentives. Absoloute crap.

pretty sure R32 exhausts don't fit. Just go in there with the 18's on.. they likley won't even blink. If they have a problem, then go from there.

Hopefully some of you guys will have been through this before, so could you share some experience?? Ok, so I just informed my employers of one of my jobs that I won't be with them for much longer. What needs to be done paperwork wise? I was using this job as my primary income job, so it get's taxed the least out of the ones I have.. I don't want to get taxed at a very high rate at my new one if you know what I mean. Do I need to get a group cert for tax adjustments at the end of this financial year? What about super? Is there anything else I'm missing?? Thanks guys and gals, your help is much appreciated

how do you know that you have to get an engineers cert? Like I'm sure the officer in question told you that you would have to....... but is it written down anywhere? has your rego actually been cancelled.. becuase if it comes down to a Vicroads inspection... well we all know what vicroads are like.. you might just get away with it.

Kris, (krzysiu) had this same problem (and judging from the location probably the same officer in question).. I think from memory he had to pay $600 for the engineers cert, the car also had to be put back to stock first (I think).. Have a chat to him about it.

the evaporator is inside the car.. It sits under the dash.. It looks like the heater core.

the wheel dosn't need to come out, it just makes it easier.. but I never bother to remove the steering wheel. The dash cluster with the speedo and tacho and what not, does need to come out, but it's quite easy. Just 4 or 6 screws.. It's a simple job, although a little time consuming. Just start unscrewing things and you'll eventually get what you want, just be gentle and never force anything and you should be fine.
