I couldn't agree more. I hate trying to decipher "I get XXX/tank" because it's so vauge. How big is the tank on this model skyline/stagea/whatever? Did you wait until your tank was completely empty??? I usually get between 10.5 and 12 litres/100k's too, on a stock manual 32gtst. My Dad's SV6 6speed makes between 12-14kms/100k's

they sometimes stall because when when they vent to the atmosphere there's air that goes past the afm but doesn't get to the engine. But you said that you switched it to plumback. So therefore it shouldn't be stalling, I'd be looking at a leak somewhere perhaps? But yeah, good idea would be to put the stocker back on, and then see what happens. Then you can see if it's the BOV or the piping...e

as far as I know (not much), it's normal.. I seem to hear it on all cars I drive.. or when you walk down a street with lots of speedhumps and people drive over them, even brand new ones..

Thought I might start the official dyno day thread, This was the first dyno day I've ever attended and I had a great time and found it a great learning experience. I made 131.9kw on my stock 32gtst, which I'm pretty happy with as I was expecting about 110/120ish, everything seems to be healthy I don't have any pics or videos unfortuantly because I forgot the camera so lets see everyone elses Post up your results and tell us how you did. what did you guys use to stick it to the plastic parts of your dash? Also, I know that being a meter away from your car with the engine running is illegal, but is having a turbo timer actually installed a defect? Like if a policeman pulled me over and tried to defect me for having a turbo timer, couldn't I say, I sit in the car and only use it as a timing device and wait for the engine to cool down.. eg, you haven't actually seen me leaving the car with the turbo timer on and the engine running, and therefore cannont touch me??

I would definatly not buy that.. at least not for that price. Did anyone notice that those 1st two photo's have been photoshopped with that filter?? I forget what it's called. As Sam said, keep looking at 32's so you get a feel for the average condition of paint, the common problems, and the average market value ect ect.. for the price they're asking, I think you could get a much much cleaner example As ronin said, don't buy this car because you have your hear set on it.. stop imagining yourself driving it, or having it in your driveway. good luck though, whatever you decide to do

I've heard that Ethanol is not a sustainable resource - or very hard to sustain due to it's low calorific value (correct me if I'm wrong). Ie you need stacks of sugar to produce ethanol. Even though everyone is running on it in brazil, they are using the sugar faster than they can produce it.

I *think* i have the same noise as you... almost like a scunching sound? except I have stock damper and spring setups, and it's on all four corners, the sound has only come out recently, and it's only heard when it's under a fair bit of load, like speed humps, coming in and out of my driveway (over a smooth curby type thing) and taking round abouts with a little bit of speed.... I can't tell any handling differences as such, at least from general lowspeed manouvering on the steet (apart from this noise of course) does anybody know what this is?

if you don't mind me asking, how much did the cost you? Mine will be up for replacement soon too, as well as the rockercover gasket.

I know you didn't ask for our opinions on it, but I think it's a little too fat, although it could look nice with a different spoiler.... but that front bar is SWEEEEEEEET.. it's agressive but not too over the top, I love it.
