I went through a dealer, but I would have gone through an auction if something came up first. You can have a mechanical check arranged for approximatly $250. Another good thing about buying from a dealer, is that you can cross check their damage reports with the auction sheets to see if everything is where it should be.

well a good condition a r32gtst can be picked up locally for as little as 12-14k (for a stocker). I don't have a very good idea on how much it would cost to get a stocker running 12secs..

it sounds pretty stupid I think. They say only legal mods and it's our responsibility, so they will cover us for illegal mods, charge us extra and then possibly not pay out if something happens. They quoted me extra for my mods (exhaust and BOV) and it's third party, so they won't pay for any damage to my car anyway.

where's the sound bite... chop chop... but I agree with dojobi about how hard it is to get a perfect recording. What do you plan to record with. Try and get your hands on a half decent mic as well, will probably make a significant difference.

okay, thats weird.. my figures are the same. So maybe I'm not doing something right, but I have NEVER heard of someone being done for powerweight when driving a r32gtst so I'm sure you would be fine if you wanted to go down that path. I noticed your profile says your 21, assuming you got your license early when you were 18 you will be getting your full licenense soon, so if you get a car over the p/w ratio then you won't have to worry too long... unless you got your license recently or something

*some* or a cop, can tell. Someone on here got done when he popped the hood of his r32 gtst that had a RB25 transplant and the policeman noticed and the person got done. And r32 gtst's are legal, I have a different weight figure, I'll try and find it.

I'm with Eugene, pretty sure this is normal, it should be ok in time. Just a quick phone call to your mechanic should be able to solve the problem
