Ok, but first I try to fix the polarizer on my own screen as the screen is definitely ok. Buying the new screen is the second option in case I can't fix it properly.

I got to this thread due to the polarizer issue at my own MFD screen. I checked out the link above and to me, this screen looks different to the one showed in the first post. Of course it's just the screen itself without the adapting electronics behind, but the screen looks a bit recessed compared to the MFD one. Or is the pic in the link just an example pic?
