  1. English translation of dash fuse box labels does not identify Horn. Any suggestions?
  2. Thanks Guys. Nissan dealer had stock of the right wheel nuts ("you can have them at trade price mate, $7.80 each")! and tyre guy swopped them over for ten bucks. And ebay looks the go for generic wheel centres and Nissan badges for them.
  3. Thanks. I suspect that the steering is heavier than it should be but I do not know enough to verify this. Mechanic who tuned the car says HICAS is locked out. I am thinking of finding a a specialist steering / suspension shop to have a look at it. Can anyone recommend somewhere within striking distance of St. George / Sutherland area of Sydney?
  4. Car currently has HKB boss and knackered Italvolanti wooden wheel. Looking to replace with leather trimmed wheel close to original size, (370mm)? to lighten steering effort at parking speeds for wifey. Not interested in wank factor of $$$$ wheel. Just something decent. Any suggestions? Shops, websites etc? thanks, Max.
  5. Hi, My car is a GTS-t Postcode is 2232 I need: Interior large plastic trim piece which covers the passenger side c-pillar. (The dog ate mine!) Console lid. Door light switch. (Drivers door if it matters) Boot lock barrel and key. cheers, Max.
  6. Thanks for the reply Sinista32. I am just a bit paranoid driving round without the means to change a flat tyre.
  7. New to Skylines, I have become the carer for a well worn GTS-t which is on it's way to becoming whole again. The attached pic shows one of the wheels. Questions: Are these the original wheels? Where do I get a bit / driver / tool to undo the socket type wheel nuts? Anyone know what the wheel centres look like and where can I buy four? thanks, Max.
  8. An admission. The last time I messed about with cars they had things called distributors and points. But recently I have found myself in the role of carer for a well used 92 R32 GTS-t. So in my quest for knowledge I ask you younguns. What is the thing in the photos?
  9. Thanks for the sage advice guys. Having spent 30 years on motorcycles this is my first foray into cars so I know nothing and am no mechanic although I like to tinker. I have some mates who are lifelong car nuts so will be chatting to them as and when. Chris, I have started to read your GTS4 thread. I am in awe. (Also a bit gobsmacked by the price of some parts) :-) At the moment the car is being made roadworthy prior to re-registration. In the new year I expect to have a budget of around $20K which will have to include a respray. cheers, Max.
  10. I know I will never see the money again but for personal reasons I am looking at more or less restoring an R32 GTS-t. The car is registered and running but has been used as a daily driver and needs work in all areas. In what order should the work be done? Is there a standard procedure? Should the respray come last? And should the HICAS be binned as part of the work? Any advice appreciated. thanks, Max
  11. So glad to find SAU. Many hours will be spent here. I won't go into details but my wife and I are the new owners of a pearl black 1992 Skyline. R32 GTS-t. We live in the vicinity of Kogarah, NSW. The car has done a lot of klms but is basically unmolested. Age wise we are no doubt among the more mature members of this forum. We plan to restore the car to more or less stock and use it as a Sunday car. I look forward to learning a lot here and perhaps eventually contributing. cheers, Max
