  1. Oosh: Just made your display, will get sent out on Monday Impakt P.S. What do i do to donate to the forums? You guys have really been kind, i'd like to give something back to the community...
  2. Fitzy, 1. PM me so we can talk about this, and the LCD soldering part 2. Yes i can do it so you keep both 3. no it wont Impakt
  3. Good questions Oosh, 1. The physical dimensions of the screen (PCB) is 98mmx60mmx~15mm. THe actual LCD part is smaller. 2. To remotely mount the LCD is not that hard, as long as you know what you are doing. Im happy to sell a display with the LCD and case seperate, so you can mount as you wish. Its 12 wires between the LCD and PCB, so a decent ribbon cable should do the trick. I would recommend you letting me know if you want to remote mount the LCD, that way i wont solder it on in the first place (and create extra work for you). 2a. Won't affect operation at all, just shield the ribbon cable to reduce noise. 3. A super bright VFD or LED module could be used for HUD. LCD will never be bright enough to be used as a HUD. 4. Not possible without re-programming the device, which im happy to do (at a small cost). Just tell me how much you need it tweaked by, and i'll write the code to do it. Impakt
  4. $300 + shipping, which is around $15 to anywhere in the country (COD). Impakt
  5. Hi all, I have received all the parts i need to make another batch today, and will start taking orders. If you would like one, pls contact me with your contact details. If you would like more info, reply here! Impakt
  6. yes it will work with the r33 series 1. I will try and post some more pics of the unit tonight when i get home from work. Impakt
  7. slide: yes it will. it should work on all skylines r32+ Impakt
  8. THe ca18 ecu doesnt have a consult connector on the loom. I have heard that Consult is supported on the ecu, and that you can wire in your own connector. I havent seen this done with my own eyes though. Oosh, gtst89, rudager: I'll add you to my list. I should have all parts next week, which means i can start sending them out by the 17th. Impakt
  9. yeah the connectors are the same. If you wired up the stock connector to the stock rb20 ecu then it would still work. Impakt
  10. Hi all, At the moment i have one left which is on the way to the USA, i have ordered some more parts and will have another 20 or so available by the end of the year. Also, if any of you guys dont mind me quoting your responses on the device for another site please let me know! Impakt

  15. I might be in...
  16. i have successfully tried Conzult free, SR Talk, and Nissan Data Scan. All of these can temporarily richen fuel mixture, and ignition timing. They can also read and clear fault codes, and log data. You cant use it to tune fuel and ignition maps. Impakt
  17. RB20ZED: I have made your display unit. Did you want it with the consult connector? Impakt
  18. Yep that's right, work out where the consult wires are on the ECU. The display will work if you hardwire it into the ECU. Impakt
  19. Hi Blitz, please PM me your Contact Details. Impakt
  20. Rowdyr32: Yes with my module, a laptop and the right software you will be able to read the Mines map out of the ECU. My display will work with the Mines Chip too.. The best all 'round program is called Nissan Data Scan, and its $25. THe author of this program can be contacted at [email protected] Impakt
  21. Ed: A friend told me that the R34 uses a new version of the protocol and doesnt work with the consult I, which is what my module uses. Impakt
  22. ed: First thing would be to find out whether the R34 has the consult connector. Impakt
  23. Update: I have ordered some more parts and will have 10 more displays ready to go in a couple of days. 3 or 4 people are already showing interest in this batch of 10 also. Impakt
  24. Black33: I cant find a supplier with the blue backlight LCD screen. The ones available on line, are over $100 each, + shipping, and require a but of work to retro-fit them into the module. Impakt
  25. Yotis: No idea whether it will work on the R34. AFAIK they have an OBD-II connector, and not sure if they support the CONSULT I protocol. tang0: Glad you are happy. Atm i only have 1 left! Impakt
