  1. normal LED's won't be a straight plug and play, as they're not generally 12v they'll usually have in-line resistors when being used in 12v applications
  2. both boots (driver and passenger) for $170? or just inner/outer on drivers side?
  3. where's a good place to get oil hoses from? i need the 2 hoses that are circled in the attached picture they're quite brittle and are falling apart, thus the slight leakage you see i'm going to have a crack at replacing the rocker cover gaskets and spark plugs, but need replacements for these hoses looks like you have to remove a lot of shit to get the rocker covers off!!! all help appreciated cheers
  4. hi i'm after the LEFT rear cargo blind hook and clip, which is just inside the boot on the left hand side, where the factory cargo blind hooks on to when it is fully extended it's a small hook and screw cover (about 3cm x 3cm) do you have this? cheers
  5. yeah i have 2 young kids (2 and 5 months) so the Stagea is our "holiday" car, as it fits everything with ease i do find the Caldina a lot more fun to drive hard though pretty happy with both a Stag and Caldina actually
  6. yeah, i don't think you can import a Blit (except as a personal import i guess) i took the Caldina for a squirt through the National Park today, with another Caldina, a VL Calais turbo and an SR20 powered Datsun. was pretty fun
  7. i'd have to agree with the laginess of the Caldina at < 40km/h and < 3k rpm keep it on boost though, and it's a bit of fun (but drinks like a fish!) i like the versatility of having both a manual Stag and manual Caldina though
  8. willing to split the games?
  9. in my experience (so far): Stagea (city) ~ 14-15L/100km Stagea (hwy) ~ 11-12L/100km Caldina (city) ~ 12-13L/100km Caldina (hwy) ~ 9-10L/100km yeah the ST246 are nice looking cars don't think i could live with the auto (although haven't driven one yet, lol) the ONLY problem is that the M35 and ST246 don't come in factory manual!!!
  10. as i posted on another forum i like the Caldina better, but the wife prefers the Stagea
  11. well it took a couple of years, but now there is a C34 RS Four S and a ST215 Caldina GT-t (manual!!!) sitting in the driveway they are my Yin and Yang (black + white, lol) the stock 15" rims have been ditched in favour of some Rays Engineering United Arrows in 17", with Federal 595 rubber they're both pretty much stock, save for some nice immobilisers i'll add a quick summary i wrote up on another forum in a sec EDIT - Caldina also uses a bit less fuel than the Stagea
  12. still need racks? i have some custom Rola ones on my Stag at the moment that i'll probably offload had them customised to fit the Stag perfectly they're the slimline ones which look way better than other alternatives you can kind of make them out on this pic of my car let me know if interested cheers
  13. beautiful, thanks for that is there much difference between 34gtt and 33gtr?
  14. yeah, not sure there is a problem but it seems to be only a recent change in noise (had the car for ~ 2 years) this sounds easier, will give it a shot and report back on the weekend thanks guys
  15. hi all having a recent issue with the RS Four S i think it's the clutch on the way out, but wanted to double check the problem seems to be most evident when cruising along the engine sounds like it's almost free revving (only a little bit, almost like what it sounds like on a cold start and the revs are higher than normal operating temp idle), but the revs on the tacho don't flare or anything i tried the 4th gear start to see if it was slipping, but the engine died almost straight away??? the clutch friction point is well off the floor (like almost all the way out, and can't be adjusted closer to the floor), so i've been told the clutch is on its last legs any thoughts? many thanks all
  16. NPC are QLD based any recommendations for Sydney? seems PBR only do brakes? http://www.pbr.com.au/index.shtml i am probably looking at just a factory replacement at the moment
  17. what sort of $'s we talking here? i think i just need something equivalent to stock, but if it's not much more to upgrade, then it might be a no brainer
  18. did you end up getting the SPEC clutch? cost? i'm looking for something to replace the stock clutch, no planned mods/upgrades, car (RS Four S) is stock
  19. yep, they (usually) always ask if the car has any pre-existing damage
  20. did the police attend the scene? sounds like the accident could have been A LOT worse any damage to the rear door?
  21. all highway?
