Ok, so i have had the car hooked up to computer and no fault codes recorded for Air con unit. So the climate control unit connects to what? There must be another unit/computer somewhere that controls the fan and all the stepping motors for the vents. Where can i get hold of the Air con diagram ? Anyone with the Xanavi unit in sydney willing to meet up and try my unit in there car or visversa? Anyone ? Cheers

Greeting fellow Stageaman's I have a s2 stag, with the nasty xanavi touch screen. Heres the thing, all was working great, a coil pack melted and car didnt run. Had that fixed now the climate control dose not work at all. Dosn't even come up on the screen. The screen works great. Checked all fuses, all fine. I removed the unit and found there was not power at all on the grey plug, whick is for the climate control. Any ideas at all ?? Cheers Justin

I have had a good look and cant see any sus bushes. Located inner Sydney. Cant get to the top of coilovers, may be worth checking out. Thanks for the input.

Yeah thanks, i have been to pedders on two occasions and parted with the cash and first time was told there is nothing wrong, second time was told the exhaust was hitting the bumper. I know what metal on metal sounds like and its not the exhaust. The money is not the issue here, i just want it fixed what ever it is. And yeah it was on bricks in one pic, and the other jacked up slightly.

Hi Folks, Have heard knocks comming from rear of car (s2 rs4) when driving over sharp bumps and have always put it down to the Tein coil overs untill Today. I have attached two pics of what i knoticed when jacking up the car. It appears there is some seriouse movement in the rear main frame bushes. What do you think, could this be the noise ? Do these pics look normal? i would have thought this should not move at all...

Mine has the same issue, i bumped the mirror backwards and now its fu*ked. I have opened and found you can replace the folding drive moduel, very simple.

Congrats on the car. I also purchased through Ben @ J spec going back to Nov 07, got the car on the road Feb 08. Never had a problem. Great car.. Mine had the Rust under the mirrors too..

I am gaving the same issue with my 2000 Stagea. Car was imported with Teins and is getting worse. Rears are really bad and giving me the S*its. Have taken to local suspension shop and they have no idea. over speed bumps they are smooth, only over sharp bums they are knocking. Will keep track of this topic lol

Ok Ladies/gents, Quick update as requested. Traveling 400km a week sets me back approx $45. LPG has been in the Stagea for about 8 Months with out any dramas what so ever. I do run on petrol each day, generaly whilst the timer is running after the 45-60 min trip to work, Also 20mins a week on the M4. Performance side of things runs almost the same as petrol, 0-20km is slightly less but if your just crusing of the lights you cant notice. Normal driving 60km-110km its great, pulls nicely. Cheers

Hi Ladies/gents, I have been installing alarms in Sydney for 8 years, Central locking relays/wires are located behind the glove box. Remove the glove box and on the left behind the dash you will find a blak box with a plug. I cant remember off the top of my head what the colours were. This is where i get the lock/ unock pulse for my S2. This will work for 4 doors plus rear hatch. Cheers

FYI, I bought the $50 HID globes from e bay also. They are great, had them in for 8 months now no problems. Car originally came with 10,000k. Couldnt see a thing. 4300k work a treat.

I have done a search and didnt really come up with a great deal about this one. Has anyone done this before or know how to remove ? Any advise would be great, Cheers Justin

Is i have mentioned in previouse alarm posts i have been installing alarms for 8 years. I cant recomend Auto watch highly enough. I currently have one in my Stagea and its great. Have used in all my cars problem free.

The Ac on my S2 2000m Stagea could be colder and i have noticed the Thermo fan infront of the condenser has never come on. It was my understanding that when the compresor engages the fan comes on ? Any thoughts ?

My Stag arrived off the boat with 10,000k HID's. How people drive with BLUE lights its above me. I did however find new 4300K HID's of E bay for $60 delivered from Hong Kong. Work a treat

Since i have imported my 2000 rs4 (approx 9months) the head lights have been extreamly poor. Car arrived with 10000k hid's which i have recently changed to 4300k. Much much better although i am finding they adjustment is out. There are 2 adjustments on the lights and i find one moves the beam up and down. the other im not sure. When i more the beam up and down i hear what sounds like an electronic motor move at the same time. Anyone had experiece adjusting these lights ? Cheers Justin

G day gents. I have been installing Alarms and anything 12v in cars for 8 years. I am very familiar with the Cyclops systems and from experience i have setteled with AUTO WATCH. I have been useing Auto watch in all my cars for the past 6 years and have never had a problem with the product. Main reasons being Auto watch is extreamly reliable/smart and have a number of features. Auto watch will set you back approx the same price and is by far a better quality product. Not trying to start something here but i also had a problem with a turbo i bought through an online store. Turns out the turbo came from GCG also. The car was a 180sx sr20( my old wheels ) car had power fc, injectors, afm, exhaust, cooler, e boost, fuel pump and my car would not make over 191kw. i had the car tuned by 2 different tuners and both came up with the same conclusion. The turbo could not make any more power. Complression was perfect. The turbo did not look like the one in the pic, had different comp wheel. Turbo was the GT3071. From what you have told me id be looking into the turbo side of things a little closer. Make sure you got what you have paid for!! Good luck

G day, The Dyno was performed in 4wd mode. I do not have the Afr or Torgue plots. The blue line is the Lpg power and the Red is 98 Ron. The car has stock dump pipe with 3' exhaust and Hks air filter. Thats it. the ignition timing has not been adjusted to suit Lpg as i am running Duel Fuel.
