  7. Yeah mate did a similar thing to this, bought some injectors off me, put the top/bottom o-rings in correctly but accidently split the bottom o-ring on number 6 injector and didn't notice. Had no exh manifold at the time. Remember standing back as oldmate cranked it and another dude was infront of me looking at the motor then hellloooooo flame ball to the face lol. But yeah back on topic agree totally with uras.
  8. Standard rb26 yellow top 444cc injectors are 2.0 omega resistance. Yellow top 4g63 injectors are 2.9 omega resistance. So I probably wouldn't use a standard GTR resistor pack, although you would probably find it would work OK. Best thing to do is go down to dick smith and purchase the correct individual resistors and wire them inline just above the plugs on the live 12v side. If you take those figures down to dick smith they can even look up the resistor colour coding for you and let you know which ones to purchase. That will cost you about max $4 plus its more accurate. A resistor pack will cost you atleast $150 from a GTR.

Thought I would put myn up, built this myself as probably alot of you have. r32 gtr with no 4wd. rebuilt 30 r33 rb25de non turbo pistons (10:1 comp 195psi/cylinder) standard 26 head rebuilt standard gtr turbos nismo 555cc inj standard afms apexi power-fc nismo lightned flywheel 26 oil pump with no restrictors 3.5 magnaflow exhaust with standard dumps 203rwkw @ 8psi.
  11. microtech are ok, price comparison with a power-fc but and apexi win hands done every time feature wise. I picked up my power-fc new gen second hand for $700. Very happy. Other budget options would be the wolf v500 or EMS 8860.

  14. My answer would be no is doesnt work. If you put the 26 cams straight in with hydraulic lifters it runs like shit down low. Yes the top end is not too bad but it puts excessive pressure on hydro lifters, and you would also make more power and have a better curve with standard 20 cams. Now yes you can put 26 solid lifters in an rb20/25 but just doing that wont work either. This applies to both 20/25 silvertop. Reason being is that the valve length is different between a solid and hydro head. Put a 26 intake/exh valve side by side with a 25/20 valve and see what I mean. I have yet to see this work for anyone.
  15. yeh as the other guys have mentioned, see if you can pick-up a standard ecu for it again. or alternatively move to a power-fc. They are still reasonably priced for the gtr and also cost you alot less to tune for those possible future mods. All depends on how long your keeping it and if your doing more mods.
  16. yeh you realise that by simply bolting all your stuff up to a rb26 that your still in the same boat you are now, if anything the older 26 will have a higher chance of failure. or was 8500 for a built 26? doubt it. just rebuild the 25 with quality parts and get a decent intake plennum on it.
  17. 1. Tighten to 29 N-m 2. Tighten to 78 N-m 3. Loosen to 0 N-m 4. Tighten to 25~34 N-m 5. Tighten to 78~88 N-m or 100~105 deg. That should help him.

  20. yep as mentioned its interchangeable except for the red top block. If your just using rods/crank should be fine.
  21. As per title have 2x left/right r32 gtr front hubs. One has a rotor still on it the other does not. Both in good condition. No they do not come with brakes. $200 for both. Cheers.
  22. Get the test done again, or better yet read how to do it then do it yourself. The variance is too big there for that to be still running ok.
