  4. bent valves, if compression on 2 and 4 is low then rings, if it reads nothing then im guessing it has indeed jumped and the valves have hit. Take a spark plug out and look for marks on the top of the piston where the valves have collided, thats after you do your comp test that is. it wont have jumped 1 tooth either probably a few for it to do that.
  5. no its not a bad idea because you use a multi meter to find the correct voltage.
  6. yeah there unisia/jecs brand. There a good injector, unisia make alot of stuff for nissan including injectors. and no venom injectors are shit, very shit.
  7. yes all standard components. from a 1990 gtr. I have the head still and I am using it.
  8. I dont think you will be able to pick up an extra 10psi in a 200rpm jump even with a really good tune. Anway good luck with it looks very nice.
  9. you sure there not those venom injectors getting around. does it say JECS anywhere? It may be possible that there simpy an older model NISMO injector, I wouldnt get too worried if they dont look exactly like the latest edition. A few people have confirmed them as being 700's so they most likely are.
  10. As per title I have a complete bottom end from a r32 gtr, approx 70,000ks in VGC. Includes: Block Oil Pump Near new water pump Rods Pistons Crank Etc Etc 4wd Sump with diff. Price $750 firm. Nothing wrong with it. Cheers.

  12. Hold a screw driver on the injector and listen to see if its ticking when cranking, if it is then its a fuel supply issue. Take the fuel feed line off and make sure it purges when on reders. Does it attempt to kick at all? If it does not then I would assume the injectors are not firing what so ever which should indicate a wiring or EC tuning issue as already suggested. Have you used the correct impedence injectors right? Also after cranking can you smell fuel? If you can smell fuel than it may be another issue entirely like spark.
  13. you wont see any wear on the cams there hardened. you may also need to turn the cams over and inspect them all over to see any markings. sometimes its on the very end of the cam too where the locator is.

  15. you dont have the injector 12v live hooked up. the negative signal will be pulsing fine from the ecu that doesnt stuff up. You know what the common wire is on the loom, I thinks its light grey for a rb25 loom, you need to hook this up to a 12v relay and it will start as mentioned. Dont hook it up to a live without a relay. Edit: just notices you have a 20 loom, so whatever the constant wire is for that prob wont be light grey.
  16. you much better off looking into a paxton/vortech head unit with some custom mounts and supercharging. Much easier than getting custom exh manifolds made and f**king around getting a twin down pipe system to work. Not too mention turbo water/oil provisions etc.

  19. cant hear my stock gtr pump unless the tank is very low like 1/4, then I can hear it humming away. Never gets below 1/2 tank but so I dont hear it most of the time.
  20. yeah probably going to be oil feed/drain pipe somewhere. Thats going to be fun to fix.

  22. Yeah nah you are probably over tightning them. Doing them up just by judging the tension yourself is ok if you dont give it heaps of loving, even then I would still tighten all belts up to the factory recommended spec. Look in the service manaul for the specific tension for each belt. Also on screw rod it should have a indicator on it showing where you stop, like on myn its some white paint. Try re-tensioning all belts and see how you go.
