  1. Nissan patrol GQ series with the rb30, they are a reverse sump. May have to do something with the pick-up but should still fit. Cheers.

  4. i dont know what the hell you just said but yeh, of course they are all wired up thats not what I am saying. The 12+ for all 6 injectors runs out thru that plug your talking about, obviously on the 33/34 it plugs into another plug which give injectors 12+. Just test them as I mentioned and see of you have a constant 12+ with ignition on.
  5. one of those plugs, on the afm side is the 12v+ for the injectors, it has spade terminals. You need to wire that up otherwise it wont work. Its a lights grey wire on the r33. You also need to run an inline fuse, check the full 34 diagram to check what amps but I think its 10 or 15. To check if the injectors will work switch you ign to on, then take one of the injector plugs off, should have a 12+v coming out of all the plugs, just earth the multi against the body dont try and use the negative on the plug as its pulsed thru the ecu. Its a light grey wire on the r33, but for the r34 neo it may be different. Its the wire thats the same colour on all the plugs anyway thats your +. Have you also given the eccs relays constant 12+? Those plugs are nothing to do with your headlights, thats on a completely seperate loom all together.
  6. yeah cool might replace them i think, i bought it with the apexi's so might have to hunt around for some stock items. I personally would have left the stock items on myself but anyway.
  7. From a search sounds like it might be a atmo bov issue. Might start with that then TPS, and AFM's.
  8. Hey guys have a bit of a problem with idle, stock rb26 engine with apexi valves thats it. Runs great, and idles fine too, but when you give it some gas it will rev fine but when you take your foot off completely the revs will drop and it will almost die, then revs will climb and it will idle fine. Also whilst driving if you boot it then back off the throttle completely it will stall whilst driving, only sometimes but. I was suspect on the fuel filter as it appeared to be the orginal jecs item so I have replaced it along with all the fuel hoses too with a bosch item. Also if it gets under half a tank of fuel it will kind of fuel cut whilst booting it in 1st and 2nd. I am suspect on the fuel pump itself now but what do you guys think next point of call should be. No error codes either.
  9. As mentioned do the 25/30 combo. The rb20's are good for nothing, none of the galleries line up not too mention the 78cc bore which would be interesting trying to get right to say the least with a 25 head.   11. Hey guys got a complete set of RS8 watanbe rims. The rear's are 16" the fronts are 15" Looking at $400 instant, which is very cheap. The 16" on the right has some gutter rash, the price reflects this but you dont really notice it at all.
  12. colar is most likely stuffed on the pump, again take it to a mechanic and get an independant reading done by removing the sender, but I would be betting on it being the colar. yes it could still be the sender of cluster itself but I myself wouldnt be taking that risk. I did once and I ended up rebuiling the motor.
  13. I would probably be going the tomie lifters yes, also keep the rb25 head. Make sure you follow the vvt oil line to see where it goes, I have heard people that have disabled it talk about the cam gears failing on that side later down the track. Someone else on here may be able to confirm if that bs or not but as I used the vvt on my own rb30det. Also re the lifters, check out www.rinkya.com They enable you to bid at the japan yahoo auctions, you need a credit card but. I think you will be very suprised when you see how much you can pick up the tomei lifters for off there instead. Even with postage and import its a bargain.

  15. well seeing has the turbo is gone you might as well high flow that one instead of purchasing another. The only advantage to purchasing another one is so you can still drive around, which in this case you cant anyway. just talke the turbo off, clean it all up and ring around to get some quotes on a high flow. Save yourself some money and at least install it yourself its not hard.
  16. I would be going the gt30r over the hi-flow, but obviously the GCG is going to hit boost somewhat faster the the gt30 will.
  17. Just start the engine as normal and let it idle, it just needs to gain oil pressure. The lifters will bleed themselves as soon as the oil pressure is good.
  18. On the SMJ plug will be a light grey wire, this is the 12v for all the injectors. The ecu then pulses an earth to each injector. Check that the light grey wire has a 12v constant on it. You should be able to take out one of the injector plugs and with the grey wire hooked up to a 12v constant get that same reading with a multi meter off one of the injector plugs. You will need to earth the multi meter against the car, then measure the reading from the grey wire in the injector plug. Just to make sure you hooked it up right. Also you should place a 30amp inline fuse between the grey wire and ingnition. As R33 has this too.
