  1. yea i know volks arnt cheap but with prices from $4500 to $2800 for 17's and there arnt many GT-C's on the yahoo auctions that are cheaper than i can get them new
  2. As it states volk GT-C where to buy cheap. there is heaps of wheel places and a huge range in prices where is the cheapest?
  3. it's got me jiggerd why that would make noise it's not the alternator is it ?
  4. i just use a shifter to streighten them out i think they bend in when the car is to low and scrape on the gutter or something???????
  5. i think it's for the steering i will go and check my R32 when it gets home
  6. lol very quick eh holden
  7. dude i have both r33 and R32 and yes it had the right plug the part no. i dont know the guy at petroject cairns found it for me
  8. yep direct fit no f##k about just get the old one out thats the only f**king around
  9. cork gaskets are still used in many applications and i agree with steve you need sealant on the half moons as nissan states in the manual
  10. i got mine for $95 from petroject saved me $$$$ on fuel i get another 100 k's per tank
  11. lots of realy good gasket glue allways works lol
  12. you will get more for the parts
  13. marine type sickaflex 12 hours
  14. some spacers on the rear will make them look phat
  15. will you sell me the rears alone
  16. thats correct but it can be used to fill the diff later
  17. ramps will make it easy i just used a jack i cant get my car up on ramps lol the pump im refering to is a plastic one i think i saw it in the manual gearbox service DIY keep in mind you have to fill the gearbox through the dipstick hole so you dont want to big of a hose or just get a funnel with a hose attached that may be cheeper
  18. how did you get on warwick
  19. ok the first few things you will need are 4 liters of castrol TQ dexron 3 this is a heavy load oil an oil catch tray 4 litre one scocket's 10mm for the pan bolts and filter bolts and 19mm for the drain plug. A hand pump just a simple squeeze one i used an outboard fuel line not recomended for this though lol. A gasket from an auto service centre part no.RE4R01A ask for the gasket part number alone because if you ask for a skyline one they will charge you like $20+ i got mine for $8 its a cork one they are the best no gasket glue needed. Some spare fuel to clean the filter dont buy a new one all they do at the service centers is clean it's the same with nissan. let me know when you have all that stuff and i will give you the next steps with pics
  20. tip when its empty give the radiator hoses a squeze to remove any crap on the inside of them
  21. oh that is more of a stall converter/band problem secur1ty its not the same as the R32 problems being stuck in every gear as you accelerate the gear box type/part number may be the same but have clearly diffrent problems just to clear things up i own an R32 and R33 both auto's so i understand your frusteration rstme how long has it been since your auto was serviced if you want i can talk you through a service the cheap way its quite easy
  22. thats correct RSTME it will hold the gears back from reving secur1ty when you are doing 100kmh push the snow button it wont do anything it certinaly wont drop into second how ever at the lights when you push the snow button it will be in second gear so you dont spinn the wheels in all this aussie snow. what i was trying to say is when your car gets stuck in gears as you are driving it has changed in to power mode automacticaly. to relece the gears you have to tap the power button on and off
  23. R32's dont have a snow button they have a hold button and i was refering to the power button just to clear things up a bit
  24. just tap the power swich on and off antonrx7 this will solve having to come to a stop when you are driving
  25. ha thoes R31 radiators are huge might be best off to get a stock one from a wrecker
