What's the consensus on installing a higher flowing fuel pump with regards to running rich. A few guys say that it makes no difference because it runs back to the tank BUT I remember a couple of guys on the forums saying that a higher flowing fuel pump seems to put increased pressure through the injectors & run richer.
Just wondering what the verdict is & peoples practial experiences, do you need to adjust the ECU?
Oh, & what the signs of a fuel pump on its way out. I sometimes here a wierd urmphh noise when I switch off the ignition (but only sometimes) from the back right of the car. I know its already running rich though (1 o2 sensor is rogered & CAS is retarded).
