  2. Hey the "bashing" method worked fine.... the blowout was pretty bad the inner wall of the tire had a tear about 25cms long not good... anyways thanks for the help.

Hey Guys, I'm hoping someone here can help me, Last night whilst driving home, i had a blow out , alas i pulled over, jacked the side up and found that the wheels on the car have a lock nut, to which the previous owner did not give me on sale what i wanna know is, can i take it to a tire shop and show all the paperwork to state i own the car etc to get these locknuts taken off and replaced? i ended up havin to drive on a flat , even that tire inflate foam stuff didn't work. Any help greatly appreciated.
  4. Hi, I was wanting to know if you can get permits for mods in nsw, or are they the same thing as engineering certs? and if so where abouts would you go to get these, and how much would they cost?

  6. I got defected for having my wheels scraping on the underguards just needed new tyres.. but i'm curious, is it possible to get a engineers cert for things like BOV's, Boost controllers etc ? and thanks for any help

Hey.... it's definately 0.8psi, not bar... it does work when i begin, and then eventually stops.. checked the cat, and there was nothing in it, not being an expert with turbos to me the turbo looks stock i have a wold 3d ecu, turbosmart dual stage boost controller, turbosmart dual port BOV, the problem is only recent.. if it's the wastegate, what would i need to do, to fix this problem? thanks for all the help
  9. Hey everyone! My turbo seems to not be functioning as efficiently after a few minutes of operation, for example, under low boost setting, it'll hit max boost in first gear fine, then after a while won't be able to spool up over 0.8psi, it has only started doing this recently, a friend suggested that it could be the fuel pump causing these problems, or possibly the ignition coils... could this be true? I did do a search on this topic, but alas couldn't find any help, so any help is greatly appreciated!

  13. Where do you get the brant 6 point keypad system from? is it JUST an immobilzer? or an alarm system as well?

Check to make sure the air con belt is still on, and if it is, and it's still only blowing outside air, then it most definately from the sounds of it, needs regassing, there are two types of gas, not sure what the r32 uses, and not sure of the particulars, my r33's aircon has always worked fine so never needed to check up on it, but i needed to regas the excel, and that cost me 158 bucks! ... hope some of this helps.

Hey!!!.. hahah i went from an excel to a line just like you, first day i was so impressed by the power, then had to start modding, then put it in the shop for a week, went back to the excel i was like, this thing is so tinny, the steerting is shit, and where's the power? lol i've only done the bleed valve, after market ecu, full exaust from turbo back, but gettin a cooler as my next objective

Im not sure if this is heat related or not, as the temp guage on the car was slightly below half way, but i stopped the car after driving for bout 1 1/2 hours, and when i went back to the car about 15 mins later, it kept turning over and wouldn't start straight away, it eventually started, and i drove about another 45 mins to the shopping centre, parked undercover and went shopping for bout 30 mins, went back to car, had same problem, would this be heat related? and could an intercooler help solve this problem? thanks in advance for any help offered

My turbo kicked it in today basically lots of smoke, and now the boost guage is on 0 and doesn't deviate, what i'm wanting to know is, i badly need the car to drive this weekend, but can't put it in to get fixed till monday, is it dangerous/unsafe to drive it with the turbo in this state? or does it basically mean i just won't have the extra power of the turbo till i get it fixed... also should i just get another stock turbo put back in ? or a better one? and what price would i be looking at for this sort of repair? any advice/help greatly appreciated!! thanks
