  1. Not to start with, but once I get things running I will. start small, then bolt on the bits Nigel
  2. The main cross pipe is a piece or water pipe, it has thicker walls, the 'supports', I made these, I drew them up in Autocad and had them laser cut and I welded it all together. I have no idea if a R31 would fit, since I don't know anyone with a R31 to look at. Nigel
  3. Hi, I finally finished making and installing my strut brace today. only costed about $40ish in parts + my time http://noddle.110mb.com/Strut%20Brace/index.html
  4. Hi Andrew, Since the motor is still dead stock, the only difference I have noticed, is that it has just a little more torque, the reason I know this is that were I like there is a hill, that when I drive up it in 4th at 60ks, about 2/3 the way up it, I need to go back to 3rd, or it drops back to 50ks, but with MS It sits at 60 all the way, I know, not a lot better for the expense. But When I bolt on my turbo (the reason I brought MS), I will be able to keep the AFR where it needs to be, and not lean out. http://noddle.110mb.com/Turbo%20Upgrade/index.html But my next step is to install EDIS, so I can control spark (my dissy's vacuum advanced is stuffed) http://noddle.110mb.com/EDIS/index.html Still have lots of little projects on the go. Nigel
  5. Finally nice weather, and time to burn, so this is what I did today. more here if you are interested http://noddle.110mb.com/Megasquirt%20II%20v3.0/index.html still tuning it, using the self learn feature with my wide band, to get it close, I must say it's a steep learning curve, since i haven't done anything like this before. Nigel
  6. Is this correct ? RB30 / L24/26/28 using the same bell housing pattern (gearbox) Nigel
  7. Have you tried the wreckers ?, MR30 (L24e), 240K(L24), Older Patrols (L28 ?) would have a starter to fit your car Nigel
  8. is the "diff-centre with a clutching type from a WRX. " a long nose type, what type of axle attachment does it use ? also with the "ventilated disks", did you use a 4-5mm space between the disc and the hub , to space it more toward the strut, what calipers , S12 or S13 ? Nigel
  9. No, I think i should be good, just need the time to do it, my problem is that this is my daily drive, so I need to keep it running so I can get to work.. Nigel
  10. I'm also looking for a 2 door ( I have a 4 door ), but been in Tassie, it makes it a lot harder to find one here If you are talking about the "C110 coupe" as having a "solid rear axle", then you don't know much about them, mine and all the rest have independent rear end. Nigel
  11. I need the correct value to configure the 'Fuel Requirements' in Megasquirt , wrong value means it will be using to little, or to much fuel. Nigel
  12. Hi, Anyone know what the injector flow rate for a L24e is ? Nigel
  13. Does the "compliance tag" show that it's a 2 door ? Nigel
  14. It looks like one from a RB30 will fit, well after hacking it with a hack saw and a rasp, Nigel
  15. USPS is my new friend, but it cost more to get the parts here than what it costs to buy them, (Turbo Manfold, J-Pipe - I will run a intercooler later, EDIS setup). I'm still chasing a AFM connector (on the AFM itself), I have a quote for $120 for a AFM, but I can't see spending that much, just to chop it up for the connector. Nigel
  16. Once I get it up and running, I will be bolting this on http://noddle.110mb.com/EDIS/index.html and running EDIS, and once I sort all that out, I'll bolt this on http://noddle.110mb.com/Turbo%20Upgrade/index.html Nigel
  17. Is this what you are going to do ? http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=133522 Nigel
  18. Buy one off these, leave the original radio in it http://search.ebay.com.au/remote-usb-car-f...PageNameZRC0021 Nigel
  19. Here are two picture to show what I'm talking about, the red oval is where I'm planing to get cold air from I have my MS all finished, just need to pull my finger out and put in to run the engine, I'm running this wide band http://14point7.com/Widebands/JAW_1_03/JAW_1_03.htm Nigel
  20. I'm looking at pulling air from a 3 - 3.5 inch hole near my headlights (HGC110 - 240K), when I was doing some logging with megasquirt a month or so ago, at nights, the out side air was about 7 degrees, but the intake air (going into the engine) was about 17 / 18 degrees, the air was taken from the engine bay. This was on the highway at about 100-110 k's, I would think around town it would be double. my intake is the same as Mag86s, but with out the funnel (duct from over the radiator ) Nigel
  21. um, warm air from the engine bay...
  22. The only other HGC110 beside mine where I live , is owned by a old lady who doesn't want to sell it, other than that, I have not seen on for many years. and 2 door one, I haven't seen for 10-15 years Nigel
  23. Yes it would help It could be done without it, but I used it to make it easier, and since I had a MR30 as a donor, I could use all the bits I needed. Nigel
  24. this may help http://classiczcars.com/forums/showthread....p;highlight=EFI and this http://classiczcars.com/forums/showthread....ed=1#post199389 and these pictures should help The second picture shows how I wired my late model MR30 EFI, it has a rectangle plug, where as the diagram shows the earlier MR30 EFI (using a square plug) Nigel
  25. Hi, I'm still after a airflow meter connector (on the airbox) for a MR30 skyline to finish my megasquirt project off, a RB30 one has a small connector Nigel
