  2. Just the ECU, I will use the axle "nuts" off my "parts" mr30.. If you have access to a wrecked mr30, I also would like the airflow meter connector (cable with plug, from the harness) and the connector on the airflow meter hardware ( or the whole air flow meter), I don't need the air box or connector pipe. we haven't worked a price out yet, send me a PM with what you are asking.   4. Any One ? I'm still after a cheap Dead MR30 ECU, and Air Flow Meter connector, the bit on the meter itself, not the cable this if for my Megasquirt project which rocked up yesterday, I already have my stim assembled. Nigel
  5. Hi, I have a question about where the wastegate actuator plumbing is taken from, The picture here has 2 connections, A and B, I have seen turbos with either A or B, what is the difference from taken the "pressure" from A over B, Why is A and B joined at C ?, what does this do ? Nigel

  8. I will be keeping a record of how it will be set up, and will make it available when it's finished as for doing it for some one else, I'm not sure at this stage, I ordered my MS today, and hopefully it will turn up in a week or two. Nigel
  9. I still have, I didn't want to wreck it, (since it works), a dead one is what I need. Since my car is my daily drive, I need to setup MS in such a way, that I can go back to the original Nissan ECU without any hassle, ie setp MS over a weekend, If its not right by Sunday evening, I can put my old ecu back in.   10. Hi, I'm after a MR30 ECU for my megasquirt project, a dead one would be ok, as I'm only interested in the case and the connector from it. The connector will need to be in good shape, i.e. not rusty or burnt. Nigel
  11. hybrid z forum is a great site, the main problem I have is a lot of the stuff they talk about never came to Aus, like the L series turbo manifold, but ebay a good place to hang out.. I pondered for a long time if I should buy 280ZX turbo stuff, or go megasquirt, for me it will be easier to install MS, but the tuning side will be a pain, no one around where I live can tune MS, so this will be a big learning curve, But I have a wideband (http://www.14point7.com/JAW/JAW.htm), so this should help "3.8 V6 commodore coils " what coils are we talking about ?, ignition ? at the moment I'm using the stock electronic ignition (I'm running MR30 efi), but once MS is up and running I will be installing EDIS, and once I have all that sorted, I will install my turbo bits.. Hi, I'm in the process of chasing the bits I need to run Megasquirt on my 240K, which is fitted with EFI from a MR30 skyline, What I'm after is a replacement for the throttle body or a replacement TPS to fit the mr30 throttle body, can anyone point me in the right direction off what will fit.   14. Is the hi flow you got from SWR a H4 ?, if it's a H4 then I suppose it worth the $137 they want for them, considering that to get one from the US would most likely cost about the same. Nigel
  15. The locking ring can get wrecked when removing the nut, (I have to replace bearing on one side), it's full of locktight at the moment, but I like the locking "ring" to make sure it doesn't come lose.. I'll upload a picture later, so you can see how the nut works with the axle Nigel
  16. Hi, where would I buy rear axle nut(s) for a '75 240K ?, I rang my local Nissan dealer, and spoke to a guy in "spare parts", he almost laughed at me, and told me he could not get them. I know I can buy a bearing kit, which has the bearings, seals, and nut, but at $50 ish each side, it's a bit more than I want to spend for 2 nuts. I have also tried the local "nut & bolt" shop, but he could not supply a nut with the "metal lip" for the locking bit so any help would be appreciated and before you ask why I'm taking the rear axles out, it to fit the brackets for my disc conversion Nigel
  17. maybe the reason that the head gaskets went, and now its smoking is that you had detonation, and killed the head gasket, and damaged the piston lands, thus causing the smoking, have you done a compression test , are all the cylinders the same ? my 2 cents worth.. Nigel

  20. I need a turbo cam, what's the difference between a L20Et and a L28et cam ? do you know what's stamped on the end of the cam (back end) Nigel

So I take it the diff is different inside, (crown and pinion), the reason I ask, is I have a 3.08 sitting in my shed out of my old XK Falcon, and yes I know a Falcon is a Ford, and not a Holden, but I modified a EH diff to fit it, the old 3.55 was way to low with 13 inch wheels, 3.55 higher reving, lower top speed, but more pick up 3.08 lower reving, higher speed, slower pick up (not really, toyota steel 5 speed, 250 xflow, 13inch wheels) Nigel

  24. I've got a MR30 Hatch, that i'm using for part for my 240K, ok most of the parts don't fit, but the EFI does, fuel pump, fuse box, etc.. Nigel
