  1. I just run regular unleaded in my L24E, I have not had any problems Nigel
  2. Have you tried Rare Spares ? http://www.rarespares.net.au/Parts-Accessories.aspx Nigel
  3. Not sure if you want any info on how to do this, but if you look here http://www.geocities.com/zgarage2001/z.html click on "Performance Tips" the info you need is about 1/2 the way down, shows how to wire up the electronic dizzy, I done this many years ago for my 240K one thing to note: on my 240K it had 3 wires to the coil, one for the tacko, one was full 12volts whilst cranking, and the other had a built in resistor wire (for ignition to coil) that only supplied about 7.5 volts to the coil / points, when the engine was running, I made a change so it had 12volts at cranking and when it was running.. I hope this helps Nigel
  4. Hi, This is different to my L24E set up, out a MR30 skyline two thing that I know that are not the same, mine doesn't use a O2 sensor, and mine uses a Ballast (?) resistor with the injectors, is this for a turbo version of a l24 ? do you have a part number for the ECU,
  5. Sorry, I should have said L20ET (JDM) 6 cylinder 2 litre, not the local 4 cylinder ones.
  6. I after some information on running a turbo on a standard (stock) L24, no mods except its running EFI from a MR30 Skyline, What I'm planing on doing, is buying L28ET (280zx) stuff from the US and installing on this engine, running 5-10 psi boost, no intercooler to start with, what I need to know, will this work, and what sort of injectors I will need, since it's 2.4 and not 2.8 litre, I'm not wanting a aftermarket ECU, thanks for any input, and yes I have looked around a bit, but most of the stuff I found is for the L20 turbo stuff, or the L28 stuff in the US, found very little on the L24. Nigel
  7. Where did you get the turbo manifold and ECU from ?, Japan, New Zealand or the US ?, what was the cost may I ask ? Nigel
  8. are you sure ?, L24 - 2.4 liter, RB30 - 3.0 liter, or do the RB30 stay open for a longer period, but if that's the case they would max out earlier ? Nigel
  9. Have you tried "ICE" to freeze the gum, may help to get it out. Nigel
  10. Not sure about the "C210", but I do know that a Auto tailshaft from a '73 Auto 240K will fit into a '77 Manual 240K, the only difference was the center bearing bracket was different, just swapped that, and it all fitted together. Nigel
  11. Hi, Just after some info of the MR30 Hatch Rear Disc attachment Plate, Does anyone have any pictures / dimensions on this, and what year did it come off, As my 'parts mr30' has the bracket welded to the axle assembly, I'm chasing something to connect the MR30 rear disc / callipers onto my 240K Thanks Nigel
  12. Hi, they are not 240K tail lights as far as I know, 240K lights look like this http://noddle.customer.netspace.net.au/alb...0_4246_800.html

  15. Hi, I already have my slotted discs, just need the calipers, are the supra the same as what i'm after ?
  16. Wanted to buy toyota brake calipers for a Datsun 240K / Magna brake upgrade. Front brake calipers of a toyota 1994 + forerunner Hilux LN,RN, VZN, KZN 106/130 HZJ75 Landcruisers The caliper must be a 4 piston type, each piston must be the same size, not the 2xlarge / 2xsmall type must have 'S13 ' stamped on the caliper (above the brake line fitting), not S12 the S13 suits 35mm vented discs thanks
  17. what do you want for the ECU ? I looking for a spare.
  18. Sorry to see you going as well, you can always hang out here -- http://classiczcars.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=102 Nigel

  20. Hi, I need a schematics for a MR30 rear Disc setup, showing how the bits fit together also can any tell me how to remove the CV Drive shaft from the Diff (MR30 again), I don't see any bolts holding it on. Thanks
  21. Make sure before you start doing this, is to remove the fuel pressure in the fuel line, the way I did this was remove the relay for the fuel pump, start the engine, wait till it stops, and crank it a little. Here are some pictures I took , the first two picture shows what parts are needed to make the 'T'
