  1. Hi, I'm in Burnie, Summers nice and warm (low / mid 30's), but that only last for a few weeks a year, Winters cold, normally less than 8-9 degrees, snow about 15 minute drive away in winter, beach a few minutes drive the other directing I been living here all my life, so I think it's a great place, Job prospects may be a little slim, but it depends what you might be looking after, if you into manufacturing , boiler maker - wielder, that type of thing, Elephinstone (CAT) are / were putting people on Nigel
  2. I went to the local exhaust shop, off course he did not have it, he said he doesn't hold stock if he cant sell it, so I went here, http://www.bestmufflers.com/bshop/ plenty of stuff, but under the "Truck Exhaust Parts (360)" , there is wads of stuff Nigel
  3. Hi, I'm trying to find somewhere to buy 38mm Stainless Steel exhaust flex to connect my external wastegate back into my downpipe I'll need something online, since I live in Tassie. Nigel
  4. Search here... http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=102 Nigel
  5. No, I'm just after a P90, I have 2 x L28 engines, ones a F54, the other N42, neither have a P90 (both have N42) Heads, I'm after the P90 to turbo it, I've been told the N47 would not be a good combination on a L28 block, but it works good on my L24. Nigel
  6. I have a F54 Block, but it's only got a N42 on it, Still looking...
  7. Did the turbo manifold come of a L20et or a L28et originally ? Nigel
  8. Hi, Can anyone confirm if any Nissan Patrols came out with a P90 head, and if it did, what model do I need to look for thanks for any information Nigel
  9. Does the pads between each type (R30 / R31), have the same contact area ? this would be the main different in braking power (till it all got hot) Nigel
  10. and you forgot the axles, are you going to stay with the U-Joint type, or move to the CV-joint type ? and it does look nice, are they new front guards ? also I hope you have the glass to go with it.
  11. Doesn't the MR30 use the short gearbox, where as the C110-C210 uses the long type ?
  12. True. but if it's not your daily driver, then you dont have the pressure to get it going over a weekend, lots or reading, but in the end, I'm very happy with it, and I can say, I did it myself. Nigel
  13. I like Megasquirt, a bit of a learning curve to start with, but now there is some very nice "on the fly" tuning software that will tune while you drive. ( http://www.efianalytics.com/TunerStudio/download ) L24E manifold will bolt onto a L28E, and L28 will bolt onto a L24 some heads don't have the larger bolt hole in the head. (early L24 / L26 , I believe ) Nigel
  14. For a few hundred more you could go Megasquirt II, with EDIS http://noddle.110mb.com/EDIS/index.html Nigel
  15. and the many hour of tuning, otherwise you will be trailing it home..
  16. I have the same issue with my turbo, the internal flapper hole is to small. I opened it up by a few mm but the problem is still there, I'll be fitting a external gate. Nigel
  17. You need some of these, also I used 2xAA battery's to test mine, (3 volts) http://noddle.110mb.com/440%20Injector%20-..._8166-1024.html Nigel
  18. I'll take the tail lights.
  19. This is why I turboed my L24, and didn't go with a RB, I didn't want to muck around with the engineering side of things, plus I do all my own work, and it would of been more of a issue to get it engineered. (I have no engineering ticket ) Nigel
  20. What happened to the good injectors I sent you ? Nigel
  21. Use a intercooler if you can. it halved my air intake temp http://noddle.110mb.com/Turbo%20Upgrade/index.html Nigel
  22. you dont need the Thermotime switch or the auxiliary air valve, but its a little problomatic till it warms up a bit (no idle) Nigel
  23. Do a search here, lots of good information, http://forums.hybridz.org/
