  1. Hi, I'm about the have my MR30 parts car taken to the wreckers, what I'm wondering what small parts are worth selling, the reason I said small, is that I live in Tasmania, so freights on larger parts would be to expensive. I also may try ebay to sell some off it, but since I'm never sold anything on ebay, I'm not sure what the expect. Nigel
  2. On my 240K, From the turbo I use a 2 to 2.5 inch right angle bend, that goes into a 2.5 inch pipe, which goes to a 2.5 right angle bend, to the intercooler, out of the intercooler, I use a 45 degree 2.5 inch pipe, to a 90 degree 2.5 inch bend, that goes into my S bend tube, that has the BOV on it, and it then goes to the throttle body with a 2.5 to 2.25 reducer pictures here http://noddle.110mb.com/Turbo%20Upgrade/index.html Nigel
  3. MAG86, do you have issues with this vacuums line collapsing ? I see your cars a Auto as well .. Nigel
  4. No, it's the 240K off to the middle east..
  5. Shitty NZ Dollar, Looking into buying some stuff from the US, AUS $ looking good..
  6. try here http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=102 Nigel
  7. From hanging out on "Hybrid Z" http://forums.hybridz.org/ I came across a post talking about a N/A cam that works very well on a turbo engine, the cams is the "A" type, look on the end of the cam for the stamp (other end from the timing sprocket). this is what I'm running on my L24 turbo engine (mine L24 is a standard N/A engine, out of a MR30, L24e) Nigel
  8. If you have the fuel pump, the fuse box (including the main plugs and foot or two of the wiring to it), the injector coil pack , and the engine efi wiring (will strip this down to what I need), if the efi harness does not have the plug that goes to the coil pack, i'll need that as well, but I'm sure it does. $300 for the turbo manifold is a bit more than I'm willing to pay (the one I got from the US was about $150 to my door), so I'll just keep an eye out for another one to show up on eBay. Nigel
  9. Since you guys are talking about part, I'm after another L28ET turbo manifold, the 2 on ebay will not ship internationally. If you after some info on a turbo L24e build, this is what I did on my 240K I started with just a EFI transplant, then my turbo install http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24224 My wastespark setup (EDIS) http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31759 my website with lots of pictures http://noddle.110mb.com/ Nigel
  10. I was under the impression they are the same from the front of the door forward. Nigel
  11. Is the 240K a manual or auto ?, if its a manual, I dibs the clutch / brake peddles, and the clutch slave cylinder, and the gearbox shift leaver and pin, and the floor gearstick boot if you not wanting to much for them. Nigel
  12. I installed a program at work yesterday (Auto Tech Encyclopedia - from Repco), and there was a section on 'Problems' since I've got a Datsun I though I would see what was in there for my car, but there was nothing in there for my car, but it did have a R31, this it what it said. sounds like your issue. Nigel
  13. I would have taken it, but the cost of freight (to Tasmania), would have been to high.. Nigel
  14. I've been looking for a coupe for about 4 years, I mentioned it to my brother about a month ago, that I was looking for a coupe, last week he told me a mate of his, knew some one who had one for sale, small world.. it's from NW Tasmania.. Nigel
  15. I picked up mine on the weekend, $600 well spent I thought http://noddle.110mb.com/My%20Datsun%20240K...C110/index.html Nigel
  16. I did a quick search, and found this one, it has pictures that move with the changes, it may make it easier to see what you want. http://www.morfed.net/wheel-offset-calculator/ http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp <---This one looks good. this may also be useful, if you wanting to change rim sizes, but keep the same speedo reading http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html Nigel
  17. I would assume to 'rebuild it' would to be 'replace it', I've used a second hand pump years ago, that's why I brought a new one back then.. Do you have part numbers for these ? Nigel
  18. Dennis, Did you get time to compare the two pumps ? Nigel
  19. I'm looking into buying a new one or two. I'ved used second hand pumps before (not H4 ) and was not impressed with them, so at that time I bought a new one (5ish years ago) Nigel
  20. Did you end up comparing them ? Nigel
  21. Did you bend any valves ? Nigel
  22. these are the 2 pumps I have, the left one's from my R30, and the other is the one I brought 4-5 years ago Nigel
  23. Hi, I took this from another site, as you can see, the H4 (left) has a longer rotor, thus moving more oil per turn ( http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=150165 ) the spring I'm referring to is the one in the relief valve, I believe some have a higher pressure spring, thus making the pump , pump at a higher pressure, I need to look at what pump I have to see what numbers are on it, but when I brought it 4 - 5 years ago, it was for a L24, Nigel
  24. L24, running a turbo, I'm wanting to add a oil cooler. from my research, the H4 comes out of a 280zxt AUTO (these had oil coolers), these are high volume, not high pressure. I believe the rotor is 40mm not 35 like the normal one, do you know if the Stewart Wilkins has the longer rotor, or a tighter spring to up the pressure ? Nigel
  25. Hi, I'm trying to find some where to buy one of these, that doesn't cost my right nut, I priced one through my local Nissan, and they want $240 for it. anyone got a better price / location ? Nigel
