Hi, I've been having issues with over boosting when I reach 5K so I spent half of today trying to fix my issue, but alas, I didn't fix it, work perfectly up to 5K (7psi), then after that it climbs to 12psi by 5.5K I'm not sure what I'm going to do, I didn't want to have a external wastegate, I'll wait till I fit my intercooler and see what that does. (can't afford detonation) oh, my setup L24e N/A engine (no modifications at all) RB30 injector EDIS Megasquirt full 3 inch mandrel exhaust, Nigel

  7. Shhhhh, I like these backward states that don't have regular inspections. otherwise my turbo conversion may never get done, or my aftermarket ECU, wouldn't past muster (emissions), but then again, I have never looked into what is or is not illegal. Nigel

Ok, this is what I have to work with, I have 4 different sumps, the first is my spare L28, the second and third are my original 240K, the fourth and fifth are my other 240, and the last one is my parts MR30, as you can see, the last one has the spot to put the fitting like the above pictures, the other 3 are a few inches deep (shallow part of the pan), so I assume I could put the fitting in that area, Nigel

  14. Thank you for the pictures, this shows me how far forward in the pan the fitting is. Does the fitting go through the sump and stick out inside the sump, or is it flush ?, the reason I ask, if it's flush the bubbly oil would hang around the outlet and slide down the side of the sump, if the fitting stuck out (inside the sump), the bubbly oil would drop off into the oils sitting in the bottom of the pan Nigel

When I brought mine Turbo Manifold ($US70 ish) and inlet manifold ($US50ish) out of the US, I ended up paying about the same amount, buy the time you pay for freight, and most now will only sent it by air, so you pay $80ish or more just to get it here.. Ghostrider, do you have any 'L' injector clamps you want to sell , I'm fitting some RB30 ones, and the clamps are different Nigel

  20. Hi, I'm after some internal and external pictures of a L20et sump (front sump), I need to see if the oil inlet is right angle to the sump or if it's on a angle, I'm trying to work out how the oil will return back to the sump from the turbo see pic Nigel

  23. Fuse box with a foot of wire, efi fuel pump and the mounting bracket, fuel injector plugs with a foot of wire (if its a 'L' type motor), the injector clamps (the bits that hold to injector onto the manifold) Nigel

The exhaust manifold is held together to the intake manifold via 4 bolts on on the intake side, going into the exhaust manifold my understanding, the two manifolds are separate, ie, you don't need to add anything to the bottom of the intake manifold as for the EGR stuff, just block it off. Nigel
