  1. I was under the impression if what you import is under $400 ish AU dollars, you don't pay import tax, I didn't pay any tax on my Megasquirt, my Wideband AFR, or my Turbo bits from the US.. If I imported them all in the one go, I would assume, I would pay import taxes. so buy in small quantities, you should be ok Nigel
  2. So, no one on here is running a turbo 'L' engine, that could take some pictures for me ?
  3. Hi, I'm after some good picture of the turbo oil line used on the L6 engines, i.e. original oil line, not the flexi ones off ebay, I'm going to make my own, so picture of the 'T', and each side would be nice, and where it bends around the exhaust manifold into the turbo. I was planing of making this with steel brake line, but not sure if its large enough, so what diameter is the original ones ? thanks in advanced. Nigel
  4. Find proper size blots for these two holes, and screw them in (at the same time or a little on one then a little on the other) Nigel
  5. On my MR30, the rotor is part of the hub, remove the caliper, remove center nut (axle nut), it all comes off in on piece On my 240K, the rotor is bolted on to the hub, remove caliper, remove center nut (axle nut), it all comes off, undo 4 bolts holding rotor onto the hub (on the inside of the hub), give it a good smack with a big block of wood. I don't know if the HR30 is the same, Nigel
  6. Here's a good read about those heads (L4 and L6) http://www.datrats.com.au/OS%20GIKEN%20ENGINES.htm Nigel
  7. Finally, I have EDIS running with Megasquirt, in the end it was fairly easy to setup, just some nerves, (not wanting to fry my Megasquirt, you just need to follow the directions, and check what you have done for mistakes) more pics here http://noddle.110mb.com/EDIS/index.html Nigel
  8. Does the C210 has a "240K" badge on it ?, Since I haven't seen one up close, I though the C110 was the only "240K" Nigel
  9. If it's to much trouble, just drive it down to Tassie, and sell it to me :-) edit: Just noticed it's not a 240K, so I don't need it.. Nigel..
  10. Check this out http://classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27682 Nigel
  11. I'll give you $30 for it, but you pay the freight cost, (about $5ish, depending on weight) Burnie, Tasmania, 7320 Let me know Nigel
  12. So what happened to the picture ?, since I don't have a " r33", I'm not sure if it will suit my needs, so a picture will help me in deciding if its what I need. is it the same as this one ? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/R33-Skyline-Crossov...%3A1|240%3A1318 Nigel
  13. Hi Have you got a picture of the "GTS-T BOV", I'm not sure if it will suite my turbo project (I'm after a plum back type) Nigel
  14. Hi, I looking for a OEM type BOV for my L24 Turbo project, I'm only planing to run 7 to 10 psi, so I'm wondering what would fit my application (car model, year, engine) and I can't afford a $300 name brand one. L24 ( 2.4 6 cylinder, ie out of a 240K) thanks for any help Nigel
  15. Well then you would have bent valves, and a lot of work on your hands.. sorry to hear that your work on the engine may have been for nothing. Nigel
  16. Hi, I'm looking for 1/2 inch longer exhaust studs (because of the 1/2 inch spacer between manifold and turbo), with the same coarse / fine thread that the original studs have, does anyone know where I can buy these, preferable from a online vendor and the manifold is of a Datsun 280ZX (Turbo L28 manifold) Thanks Nigel
  17. Turbo oil line, banjo bolt / copper washers, the bottom drain on the turbo, the 'T' piece on the engine block (to connect the oil line and sender gauge), maybe some larger injectors (RB30 ?) that's about all I need, If you are having problems finding a loom, could you get a stock MR30 one and chop it up a bit ? Nigel
  18. You would have the bit I'm interested in wouldn't you ?, you could sell them to me since you having such a hard time getting your loom.. :-) Nigel
  19. Hi, I'm also interested in some of the turbo bits, oil line to and from the turbo (including banjo bolts), the 'T' piece at the engine block that connects the oil line and oil sender, I would like the sump, as long as the oil storage part is at the front, but I would think freight would to to much to ship it to Tassie.. Nigel
  20. I take it you are using Windows XP / Vista, is the Japanese Language installed ? Control Panel / Regional & Language Options / Languages TAB / Details / Add / Pick out of list Not sure if this will fix your problem, but I don't think it will make it any worse. Nigel
  21. I watch some carbon fibre flares go on ebay.au the other week for $300, I was thinking about bidding, but I didn't know how carbon fibre and fibre glass would hold together ( I have a 4 door, and the rear flares would need modifying) so I decided to look into getting fibre glass one. Nigel
  22. The C110 have a different shape rear guard. Nigel
  23. Hi, I'm not wanting to make any more, (it took me long enough to pull my finger out to do this one) but I will give you the link to the cad file I made of the base part, and if you look at my website (above), it show how the bits fit together Nigel http://classiczcars.com/forums/showpost.ph...mp;postcount=34
  24. I would be interested in the hard oil line (into and out of the turbo) and the 'T' piece Nigel
