Mate not sure what your version of "affordable" is but try Kuhmo KH11's
Admittedly I don't have these on a 'Line or anything but having said that I am more than happy with their performance, wet or dry & considering the grip their wear-rates are excellent too.
Only 1 suggestion, DO NOT rotate them. They are a directional tyre so you def can't swap 'em side-for-side (without re-mounting) but even front-to-rear can be a prob. I took the sides down a bit on the fronts (heavy cornering, not bad front-end) & when I swapped front for rear, the chamfered shoulders allowed the rears to slide earlier than they normally would
Also shop around- I had a connection to a shop up here so the price was good but they can vary a huge amount, probably 'cos they aren't so much of a stocked tyre, compared to Dunlop or B'stone etc
