Guys I've gotta put my hand up & nominate myself for the Triple J "Friday F*ckwit" award after I made the n00b mistake of driving a new car (had it a wk) & NOT checking the tyre pressures....... Turns out the RHR had 20psi & the LHR 24psi- no wonder the thing was stepping out everywhere but I've gotta say, with 32psi all round the K104's are surprisingly impressive. I shoulda known better

Yep I've gotta agree with INASNT on the Hankooks- I just bought a GTR last Friday & it's got these on all fours & I've gotta say I'm NOT inpressed, i nfact it's embarassing how little grip they really have when pushed It's part of owning these things, put good rubber on 'em 'cos you'll either bend 'em at best or put yourself in a box..........

Mate not sure what your version of "affordable" is but try Kuhmo KH11's Admittedly I don't have these on a 'Line or anything but having said that I am more than happy with their performance, wet or dry & considering the grip their wear-rates are excellent too. Only 1 suggestion, DO NOT rotate them. They are a directional tyre so you def can't swap 'em side-for-side (without re-mounting) but even front-to-rear can be a prob. I took the sides down a bit on the fronts (heavy cornering, not bad front-end) & when I swapped front for rear, the chamfered shoulders allowed the rears to slide earlier than they normally would Also shop around- I had a connection to a shop up here so the price was good but they can vary a huge amount, probably 'cos they aren't so much of a stocked tyre, compared to Dunlop or B'stone etc Good Luck & if you get some, let us know what you think

Driver Training Make it seriously difficult to get a licence in the first place & then send EVERY ONE OF US back every 5yrs to do a refresher course & re-do the testing, regardless of age or "supposed" experience etc. No Pass, No Drive. Come back next mth..... I DO NOT agree with making existing penalties harsher, just fairer. Barely a week goes by without someone posting here about being f**ked-over un-justly, just imagine how it would be if they were given MORE power to abuse at will?? If they're gonna hassle Import drivers, do the same to the suits & the blue-rinse set on an equal basis, which clearly does not happen currently.

This doesn't happen as often as it should, but at least 1 car will be out tomorrow doing full-track licensing passes. Should be 1st car out (probably around lunch-time) & will hopefully do 3 passes for the day. Worth getting up a 'lil earlier for if you're going out there anyway Fuel cars are impressive but these things can be WILD!!

Save the aggro- take a fat Nikko, 2 sheets of A4 & some tape. Stick to inside of rear window... It usually comes off but not always- had a guy do the screen of one of my bikes yrs ago & f**ked it. Wasn't happy.....
