  1. Hi guys I have 2 sets (8 tyres) of Bridgestone RE-070's for sale. 225/45/17, 140 Treadwear, Traction A, Temp A, approx 5mm tread These tyres would be great for track-days etc, prob more suited to WRX's or Evo's due to the sizing, although they will work on anything fron a 7-8.5" rim. $480 per set + del. Local pickup/delivery can be arranged or can also freight anywhere in the country at cost PM if interested, these will go quick!!
  2. I don't really want to seperate these (unless someone else pops up & wants the other 2) but I can source other equiv tyres in pairs Fitting & balancing can be organised in Bris, PM for more info

  5. Mate it's an unfortunate part of life now but Insurance is basically as important as rego itself on cars, regardless of what you drive or where you live. Please don't scrimp on it & maybe one day end up in the realm of too many people on here crying over they UN-INSURED stolen or otherwise messed-up car. Good Luck with your new purchase & enjoy!!
  6. "Ayrton Senna DeSilva" I think his name says all that needs to be said...........
  7. D'oh! I just sent Matt a PM about his experience, had to go take a look to see when he posted. Was today.......
  8. + Police Powers (1) A police officer who reasonably believes that a motor vehicle:............ = The opportunity to be singled-out, victimised & basically fvcked-over at the descretion of the individual who "reasonably believes" we were doing the wrong thing. Proof?? Who needs proof, 'cos he or she "reasonably believes" they are right & WE (as a collective) are always in the wrong. It's not impossible to fight against this, but can be difficult & not to mention expensive to fight charges in court, esp when the prosecution has almost endless resources to bring to the table & a vested interest NOT to have any sort of precedent set that would rule in any way in our favour. The up-side is, if you are able to get to that point individually your charges may well be magically "withdrawn" which is great for the individual in question but does nothing for the collective. The witch-hunt started yrs ago, the public is very much on-side 'cos it takes away the pointing-of-fingers at the REAL problem (the average commuter-knob in his/her average car with VERY average driving "skills" (I use that term very loosely) who continue to have accidents (re: do totally dumb shit) on our roads that leads to x-amount of people not making it home for dinner that day. WE are not the problem, but I guess most of us know that but instead of condoning the way things are heading, we as a collective need to stand up & scream "THIS IS BULLSHIT, WE ARE NOT THE PROBLEM" instead of coming out with "If you don't do X, Y won't happen" 'cos with the big red targets we've had painted on our foreheads, Y is gonna happen purely 'cos "we were there". IT HAS TO STOP!! I've actually had discussions in the past with members of the Exec that along with things like CAMS affifiation, each state chapter of the club might have to look into the viability of having a Solicitor on the books. Maybe it would help, maybe it wouldn't but I'm sure it would help give some "perspective" to a situation let's say if one was to encounter an over-zealous member who "reasonably believes" (there's that accusation again) he/she is right & we are always wrong. If you're being a 'tard, well then you deserve the slapping but isn't it time some impartial 3rd-party judgement was brought directly to the scene & alleged incident, esp when the forfeiture of such a valuable personal asset is at risk based purely on the judgement of someone who "reasonably believes". I really wish this was over-kill on my behalf, but sadly I personally don't think it is & unless something like this is brought into play to bring some balance back to proceedings, things can & will only get worse for us. BTW apologies Chris for picking on your quote, I wasn't personally targetting you directly. I wish the advice of "don't fv<k up & everything will be fine" would actually be enough, but unfortunately it simply isn't anymore
  9. Especially if she's a good sort
  10. BUMP
  11. Yeah Steve, I can't believe these haven't gone yet either
  12. I'm keeping the factory resistor pack BUT all you have to do is splice in a single resistor on each of the injector plugs & you're good-to-go. These will be supplied with the injectors if needed, along with instructions. It really is easy....... Also guys, try PM's rather than posting Q's here (or both). That way I'm more likely to see it & respond earlier
  13. They were cleaned & flowed 20k ago when the engine was re-built & are working fine. The ONLY reason they are coming out is to supply more fuel, which is a pretty typical thing for a GTR. Also guys, try PM's rather than posting Q's here (or both). That way I'm more likely to see it & respond earlier
  14. Nice shots, but someone needs to teach those guys how to set a boat up for speed & how do drive said boat at speed or someone's gonna get hurt.........
  15. Also take a look at the centre bearing on the tailshaft, it can wear (moreso the actual rubber support that holds the bearing) & replicate the noise you're describing.
  16. BUMP I cannot believe how many people have PM'd me etc saying "I WANT THESE!!" only to fall off the face of the earth....... NO low-ball offers, no BS, step up with your $$$ & they're yours

  18. .....and here's the reason. No 'tard Mods to put up with over here http://www.sauqld.com/ipb/index.php?showto...amp;#entry22159
  19. I don't have the data at hand ATM (can't find link) but I saw a back-to-back test awhile back that actually rated the std Nissan filter at #2 out of a whole shiteload of filters & way above a lot of the big "name" brands. I don't remember what was #1 but I do remember whoever made FRAM filters also made several more (same filter re-branded) & it was CRAP. I'll try & find the info & post it up.
  20. You're just too used to it Geoff. I'll give you mine for a wk (pre-tune) & that should put it all back in perspective for ya 320Kw would do me for a 'lil while
  21. Contrary to popular belief, the factory GTR intercooler is good for way more than 280Kw. This was one of the first things pointed out to me by someone who's very much in the know when it comes to well-sorted GTR's.......
