99RS4

Het guys, I have done a search and cant seem to find the info I am after, basically what I want to know is why the CEL on my car doesnt come on when I disconnect the Oxygen Sensor, left it idling for about 20mins....nothing. Then I left it disconnect for 2 days with the plug cable tied up out the way....... done 70kms and still nothing. No Check Engine Light or popping or misfires. If anything the car seemed to pull harder on boost. I have since replaced the O2 Sensor with the Ford EL Falcon one with the plug swapped over. Done another 30kms with this one in and a good 20mins of idle as well. Havent tried disconnecting but I will tomorrow. Is there any way to prove its working ? Someone has told me if the temp sensor isnt reading correct the car wont put the O2 sensor in the correct mode ( open or closed loop I can never remember ) I have the needle sitting just under half on the dash and it never moves. Can someone post a photo of the sensor that needs to be removed and cleaned/replaced ? If replacement is the only option maybe a part number ?? Thanks guys Brendan

Hey guys, I know this might not be the right place to post this but, I have organised a cruise to Mt Panorama on the 24th May for Stageas only. We can discuss which way everyone wants to travel in the morning, Ill have maps for both ways, the most direct route and for Bells Line if people are interested. We will hopefully have a photographer in the car on the cruise taking photos, and for photos at the Mountain. Hey guys I am tossing up between either Apexi Power FC or NIStune, question is what model Power FC do I have to buy. I cant find a Stagea specific ones. looking around for a second hand one ( I know, I know but Im on a limited budget. ) Can some one please shed some light on which one I need to get if I choose the Power FC ? 2nd question is, If I buy the NIStune board myself, with the Board, Cable, Software, and Installation for $615 does that give me the ability to tune myself or just to "adjust" things ? How hard are they to self install and can the car be driven to the tuners ? Or will it have to be towed ? Any help is greatly appreciated :-D . do

Has anyone had any experience with the Kinugawa Turbos ? I have heard a few mates say that a few guys on the Subaru forums are running the TD06 version with no dramas ? Is it worth looking into ? They do a size very similar to the Garrett 3076r, with an anti surge housing and all lines and gaskets and stuff for $900 Aus. Im new to the turbo scene so havent got much of an idea when it comes to this kinda thing. thanks for any help !

Hey guys brand new to the Stagea and Nissan and Boosted world lol, but I have a question hopefully someone can shed some light on. I recently purchased a 1999 Stagea RS4 S Manual. The guy I got it from said it had an IMPUL remapped ECU when it came over from Japan. The question is can I get it done with NisTune over the top or do I need a whole new ECU ? Any help greatly appreciated and Ill be sure to post some pics of the new toy up soon as I get some :-D
