hmmm, they are some low numbers....not to brag or anything, but I thought the standard GTR power was 205kW or 276hp! mine has 218kW converted from 293hp and all it has is smaller turbos and a 3" mandrel exhaust and dump pipe

R32 GTR rego - $420ish (I pay yearly) insurance - $2200 (prolly come down after I am 22) petrol - ~$70 a week (~$3600 a year) I dunno about repairs and tyres, but I just got some Fulda Extremo's for $788 ($1032 normally)

ok, so I just need a cam gear....one of those purple and blue round thingy that sits at the front of the engine ....well, I happen to have a rough estimate at $350 for one of those...that sound about right! so PFC (probably Apexi then...) and a cam gear with about 13-14PSI of boost should get me 350rwhp...ok, thanks for that So it should set me back $2000 ($50 fuel there and back )

so I can save money on the cams! or will they allow more boost?

Currently 293hp as my sig tells. Tell me if I am under/over exaggerating the 350hp figure with the following.... I am at the start of my quest for more HP sauce...and by "at the start" I really mean it. I still have to get the money for this too . I am looking at doing this mid next year at the latest and thats with leeway for any financial mishaps along the way. OK, I was quoted $1600 for a replacement PFC + controller (not Apexi I don't think) installed and dyno tuned by Ken and the guys at Hyperdrive (I hope that offer still stands or becomes less within 10 months or so)...reasonable, but for increasing the boost (currently at 11PSI) I will need internals, so I was thinking cams will give me a bit more strength in the engine As I said I don't think its an Apexi, so I might jump on a group buy for the Apexi later on if one crops up What price am I looking at for a set of cams...I hear Tomei are good!, are they top of the line or just good for the money? My GTR currently has: T3 turbos (I think from an R34 GTR) 3" Mandrel bent exhaust freshly rebuilt late last year any info appreciated cheers Tom

heheh, you could easily get those 2 confused

faulty wiring at the speaker? and are you sure you have them both wired with the FRONT wires? and not one with a rear speaker wire? Purple and Green are the rear wires White and Grey are the front wires

I catch my front torque gauge working only sometime, whats up with that. Does anyone elses actually work properly, or is that how they work? I see it jump up and down once every now and then... Does this measure the torque under acceleration or what? cheers Tom

My gear selector is rooted I think, I have to select 3rd and 4th before any other gear coz it just doesn't get in there! also, the gears crunch when I change from 4-5th at high speeds I am about to do a gearbox oil change soon to see if that a problemo
