  1. the review on the Apexi that I found states that its a direct change of the standard computer and plugs straight in to the wiring loom I like the price at $880 too, I searched and found that the retail cost is closer to $1500 for that model
  2. Mine says RB26 032 741A maybe its the week of the year and the build number or something
  3. I just bought Shell Helix Ultra for my R32 GTR, yet to change it The Castrol R, Helix Ultra, Pennzoil & Valvoline Synthpower oils were all about the same price when I bought mine (~$55)
  4. that sounds rather pricey also I don't think Nissan do the lip seperate to the entire front bar
  5. which PFC is that with Ken? Theres an Apexi for sale here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=77288
  6. Nicely put Pentae....people who spend more on their cars do respect them a hellova lot more Don't get me wrong I totally agree with the article......but driving too slow, too fast or not knowing how to put the left indicator on and pull over is inexperienced road driving and badly mannered I think Kimi Raikkenon was the youngest ever F1 race driver at 22 (I think he was). I know thats racing and should be off the streets, but he would "classed" as inexperienced on the roads along with the rest of us
  7. yup!, do the leg work if you want a quality R32...unless you get it for a good price and have some cash to get interior parts and new-car maintenance
  8. now I was in the same kinda possition as rol in not knowing where to get little bits and parts etc... so Nissan will stock all '89-'93 R32 bits and bobs then?
  9. I know the T3's cost the previous owner $1500 for the pair....and it has an aftermarket dump pipe too, I am not sure whether it is 3" or 2.25" off the turbo's but its 3" from the CAT back ok, stupid question, what does that 1.2k refer too?
  10. Hey all, I ran my GTR at Hyperdrive the week before the SAUWA day so you wouldn't have seen me there....stats and mods in signature. Just wondering what I should do now to it for a bit more HP sauce? it doesnt have a boost controller (currently setup to 11psi) or a PowerFC so they came to mind first, what else would be something I could do? I won't be able to perform this yet, coz funds are-a-low and I have a trip to Bali organised for July. Just want to get a few ideas in and some general costs for product+labour to install.... cheers Tom :uh-huh:
  11. I got Full Comprehensive....I got a quote for TP+ F&T but theres no real point because if the $24k car get stolen they only pay out $5k. With fully comp its insured for the full $24k I spose TP + F&T is good if you have a little A-to-B car, but not with the skyline thanks :uh-huh: I was suprised to only pay $2200 for fully comp from Just Car. History included no claims, but I have lost my licence once and its a twin turbo jap import so $2200 is ***n awesome I say....although it has a lot to do with the postcode it will be parked at as well a claim excess for me is $1900
  12. I bought a 32 coz I like them better than 33's, but there could be people who think the opposite and then theres people with a bit more money who can consider a 34....
  13. my car has creaaaaking all over, coz the suspension is rock hard (and the chassis comapred to my old TX3) it feels really stiff, especially around the rear shocks, for me anyway....
  14. check out this thread, add your r32 gts-t and see how many skyline owners there are in Australia....and thats only the few on SAU as well http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=74894 Skylines and jap imports are plentiful over here , import companies are never in-a-rut
  15. sounds like you might have a head gasket or dropped cylinder problem....get it pressure tested at a mechanics (in your capital city) and see what they say another thing it could be is the air/fuel mix. If the Air Control Filter (which is electronically controlled) is acting up and not closing properly you will be getting air intake when your not supposed to and causing a drop in revs..... also check the Oxygen sensor
  16. true, but its when I get caught I, I GET CAUGHT....Easter long weekend last year 90k's in a 70 zone on West Coast Highway lost 6 points.....ouch! I have mates who have been let off from speeding, swerving eratically, stoned....luckily get waved on through a booze bus and he was pissed. I have never not been stopped at a booze bus Sorry for bitching, I could go on
  17. Hi, awesome set-a-skids how far did you have to drive out of London to find the country-side? :spcow:
  18. Tis out now and available at Nintek http://www.nintek.com.au/x/Scripts/prodVie...?idproduct=1902 online store only and they will deliver (sometimes for free, but not always) and yeah a 6800GT will play BF2 sweeeet!
  19. why do I get all the "by the book" cops then? I have never been let off a fine ever...and that has lead to me losing my licence once already thats just my luck tho, believe me
  20. I will take it through the firewall near the drivers side if I can, that saves me from running it across the engine bay. thanks guys, I will have a look for those grommets
  21. are these places recommeded for all skylines... does Phill at PMS ( sorry had to abbreviate) know R32's too?
  22. This is confusing the hell outta me  Ive looked at the firewall on my skyline and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to run some cable through....do I have to drill a new whole? I don't really wanna drill a new whole incase there is something behind the sopt I drill and I puncture something.... I need to run some 4 gauge cable from my battery under the bonnet all the way to the boot, I have already run all other cables to amps, deck, speakers etc...now it just needs POWA :uh-huh: ........help!
  23. the exhaust setup looks...interesting... the lights have come straight off a Nissan Z and onto a Renault Megane
  24. Nissan are sitting on a pearler of an engine go the GTR :bananaman
  25. listen to the engine running and revving! have a drive and ask about any problems, also what HASN'T been done lately (ie. basic fluid changes etc..)
