  1. ok, just looked and I think the turbos say Garrett A/R T3, can't tell if its a T or a 3 tho... The injector tops are a dark yellow/orange sort of colors cheers Tom

  3. I just read another thread about the Brant Nemesis, it looks pretty damn good with that keypad http://www.brant.com.au/html/nemesis.htm whats the damage on one of these? anyone know which 6 points of the engine it arms? EDIT: shit!, it better be good for $700 installed

  5. I want to get some custom plates for my GTR and was wondering if customs had on going costs or if they were pay once and they are yours... I have a mate at work with custom plates and he doesn't pay for registration, and to be honest I don't really know where I got the idea that custom plates had on going payments but I just wanted to make sure.. cheers Tom
  6. Dunno!, probably just GTR turbo's...can't see down there very well, but I can see the big TT's, so they are Garrett's Dunno!, do I find this out by taking the top cover off the top of the engine?, or is that just to see the spark plugs?

  8. nice, were the Stageas out of the factory with the RB26? at the moment the gearbox in my GTR feels a bit stiff when engauging 1st....and it bumps hard into 3rd...not good not good but I will be at Hyperdrive for a dyno on the 18th to get some power down with the R34 turbos on board ..... so I will ask a few questions then EDIT: other things...it has a 5Zigen 3" Mandrel Bent exhaust (quiet ), FMIC (which I thought was stock at first) it also has ticking injectors!, is that because they would be bigger injectors?...it doesn't seem to stop ticking!
  9. ok mine does have the AA at the end so its a normal GTR damn, I thought I was onto a winner there its a 1993 model so I thought it might-a-bin a V-Spec

  11. I saw some british GTR documentary a while ago about guys who imported them and racing etc...and I think that thte GTR V-Spec models had fins on either the rear diff or something to do with oil catchment? is that right? mine has fins on the rear diff by the way, but no indication of V-Spec

  14. hey all, my R32 GTR only has an immobiliser at the mo I want to get a full alarm system soon, maybe one of those ones that send you an SMS etc.. Do they do that on request? anyway, I need some suggestions and a good place to get it done in Perth cheers Tom
  15. hey, does anyone keep the space saver spare in the boot? mine kind of sticks up a bit....also its 16" and my mags are 17" HA HAR!, I have mags , never been able to say that before
  16. heres a little list of the mods/repairs: 16/09/2003 at ~82,000kms: Oil Filter Coolant Fuel Filter Penrite Pro Oil 21/11/2003 at ~84,000: Water Pump Top Tank + Coolant 25/06/04 at ~89,000: Manifolds: Exhaust, Both Turbo's, Inlet Tube, Tube Assy, Water Wetter, Oil Filter, AGIP Oil 28/12/2004 at ~93,000: FULL ENGINE REBUILD - way too many parts to list, all belts, filters, oils, seals, gaskets and 2 new R34 turbo's cost $5700 (with free labour, last owners dad's workshop did the work) over $7,500 of receipts also have boost guage, turbo timer, pod filters currently sits at 103,000kms
  17. yeah, I'm guessing some R8 commodores and TE/TS50 Falcons would beat it but I am not that confident in changing gear fast yet ....feels a bit bumpy in the change too I rekon the fun thing is letting little excels, lancers and lasers beat you ...and you in the GTR easing up to the speed limit

Hey all, I joined the GTR club today with a 1993 R32 GTR, Gunmetal Grey......Bought my first car over 2.0L and first car with 2 turbo's let alone 1 turbo :headspin:, these things fracking boot like nothin' else, 80 in second, WOW! massive upgrade from my 1.8L non-turbo TX3 :kick: , I am lovin' this thing :wassup: Will post pics tomorrow, too dark to take any at the mo...
