etc....as in what?, is that just the front diff or both? what about timing belt, water pump?, Ive been told these are good to replace after getting a GTR.... is the "engine out" work almost a necesity after buying one?, how long does it all usually take? cheers Tom

daaaaamn, nice $100,000 is a pretty good price for an R34 GTR (1,000,000yen is ~$20,000?....right!) those rims are nice too, Ive only seen them in that dark gold colour .............why is he holding sperm?

ever think of uprating or lowering suspension, wheels and tires, stereo, body kit, paint?? etc.. or do you just want engine mods?!

yea, yea that is a tough one...I tried a few different things, but nothing worked. I picked a car and just pushed it around the track, I tried to make the other cars get in my slip-stream and boost ahead, I tried driving after the leader....all no good I only got within 4secs of the lead car...

Rule #1 to avoid yella-licky: Don't get a cannon , get a stanard straight through with a silencer. I think ive seen those titanium tip exhausts with silencers, sounds awesome, not too loud

I think I will look at getting my seats retrimmed if/when I get my R32 GTR also seen an R32 with a cream/off white retrim (red with black bonnet) that looked nice also one with a blue seat retrim, that looked not so nice EDIT: Duh!!, 2 posts ago, it was 2GU UP 2's car

I have a few questions about costs of some things that can be faulty in a GTR...I have no idea about them and would like to know what a replacement will cost before I go out and buy one soon... ok heres what I have on top of my head, but if I missed anything please let me know Water Pump Timing Belt Other Belts (AC, PS, Fan Belt...) Fuel Pumps (front and rear) Are the above things easy enough to replace, or should they be done professionally? Then theres some other things: Oil Filter Brake Pads Spark Plugs & Leads Battery (whats the standard CCA for a GTR?) (I have a 500CCA Optima, that should be good, right!) Is it easy enough to find a BOSS kit for a steering wheel for a GTR? Tom

thanks mate... car is at about 102,000k's (rebuilt at 96,000k's, with 2 new turbos) what about other belts (and whistles)? Fan belt, AC Compressor belt & Power Steering belt? also are any radiator/cooling hoses prone to bulging/cracking etc..? thanks again Tom

Hi all, I joined a while ago, but havent posted till recently......... What tends to be common replacement parts on R32 GTR's? I am looking at buying one that I will have in the next week if I decided to get it. I will change the oil, oil filter, spark plugs and leads....anything I missed? Might take it straight in for a service too (thats if I get it) I have downloaded an R32 manual which covers all the engines from the CA18i to the RB26DETT, which I will read to see if I can fix any problems like seals, bearings and gaskets other than that I guess anyone would take it to a mechanic with any major engine probs And theres always Hyperdrive too EDIT: whoops, may be in one forum too far... :Bang:
