$70k American and $150k Austrlian, I call black mail by Bill Gates, Michael Eisner, JFK and The Count.
  3. Me 3 So who's bought this? McLaren is going soon, maybe something by NASA next... Discovery X Thats you in the avatar right? wanna hook up?
  4. Geez, ya think tyre companies would get the measurements done by a guy who ISN'T crosseyed So the 245 SS595's are really 10-20mm wider, hmm. I have got a contact through a guy I work with ringing back to confirm some prices on the Federals and Kumho KU31's. I will ask to get some exact measurements when he does... Anyone got anything against the Kumho's for a similar price to the Federals?
  5. Well, my budget is around $250 per tyre so, I think the S03's and SP9000's are out I won't get up to the track very much so the I am leaning towards the 595SS's's at the mo
  6. Oh shit, I saw the date but never even realised that it was tomorrow
  7. http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/modul...hp?StockID=4440 $56k is a great price for this car. Although its a Grade 4.0 and there are 'small scratches to both bumpers and LHR quarter panel'. Anyway, just a heads up for People in Perth
  8. My GTR is slightly lower with the Bilsteins so a 245 might be the best option and for semi-daily use. I use the GTR probably once a week to drive to work and then most of the weekends if i need to drive. R-comps would be great for Barbagallo but I probably won't get up there much in the next year. What prices are Federal RS and SS's in 245/40? There are so many ion there though and I don't wanna look back through the pages... How you been anyway Ant?
  9. ok, thanks Paul. What are my options in 255mm wide tyres though?!
  10. Welcome to the club Got a link to the sale page/auction sheet? I went from an N/A 1.8L Laser TX3 to my GTR.
  11. For a Gtst +30's, yeah . Another reason why GTR's are so awesommmmmmuh
  12. I have ordered some new wheels, 18x9.5 and was wondering what my options for tyres are. Are 235mm wide tyres too small for the 9.5 inch width rims?, if so what are my options in 245 or 255mm wide? I'm guessing the price of wider tyres is much more as well.... cheers Tom
  13. I just ordered some of these in 18"x9.5 +22 off Nengun for my GTR Should look mint.
  14. Hi, quick question What are my options for tyres on 18" by 9.5" wide rims? would 235mm wide tyres be a little too small, if so what are my options in a 245mm or a 255mm wide tyre? Also, prices? cheers
  15. Heres a few pics of mine. Came out of a '93 GTR. I'd say you had a 34 pump as well
  16. No, These ones aren't too bad, there is a little bit of inside wear on the right front but thats it. I am scouting Nengun and contemplating whether to get 4 wheels in 1 hit and suffer a $200+ import tax or just 2 now and order 2 in a few weeks to save on the tax. If I order all 4 now I will have them in time for the Xmas cruise...... Dilema.
  17. My front wheels are offset differently on each side. The drivers side wheel sits a little bit further out than the left, its probably only about 8-10mm but I noticed it one day. I have a wierd lean in my car, most time I have to pull to the right to get it to go straight other times its left and sometimes I don't need to correct it at all. Brad had checked my alignment twice and he thinks its the tyres, I still rekon its something that a jig needs to fix, but thats costly and I want new rims damnit I have to get it on a jig sometime to see if it can be straightened.
  18. So whos seen the new site layout? Fairly easy to get used to, awesome work Nengun
  19. Well kermit did me a Magnaflow and removed my front muffler. Superpoppin' ever since. How does a really expensive cat impress the ladies?..............................wait a minute!
  20. I got lucky when I flashed my SAUWA car a few month ago. I was told they weren't a sponsor any longer but after going there 3 times previously for work Andrew? gave me 10% off
  21. I am running a S939 AMD 3700+ @ 2.5Ghz, 7800GTX OC and 2GB of DDR1, its slightly jumpy when the games requires a little more processing power than I have but 96.1337% of the time its seemless at pretty high settings. Well, we'll see I guess. It was actually a 3.41GB .rar file with the game already extracted plus a registry update inside. Once extracted and now that I've played for a bit its 5.57GB
  22. Half correct?! The only correction was that all 34GTR's have Brembos . To clarify why I said that Brandon, 32GTR Vspec models had the upgrade Brembo brakes (from Sumitomo? or are they just the calipers!). I now know all 33's had Brembos as well. Carry on

    Super Bad

This movie was great, come-on..... McLovin and now to see Rush Hour 3
  24. Well, the V-specs have the brembo brake upgrade but don't have N1 turbos, the Vspecs also had upgrades like ATTESSA ETS Pro, firmer suspension and front and rear diffusers so you do get extra for what you pay. So if your looking at spending $50-$60k then a standard GTR, maybe a Vspec would fall in that range. Importing Japanese cars usually does end up cheaper (jspec imports or imports101 ) but as you say you can't touch n feel for yourself, the spec sheets from auctions are usually pretty good and you can request more information if need be. You could always check carsales and maybe find one in Australia worth buying or transporting to your state.
  25. First few days I had my Nismo twin I thought it was horrible, I wanted my old standard and very worn clutch back . Its still not broken in yet and is still quite annoying and embarrassing doing the hops away from lights but I am getting used to it. I get heaps more bumps and knocks coming from all over the car, probably the diffs clunking and engine mounts straining.... Can't wait to give this thing a 7k launch at the drags
