  4. hahah, dooo iiiitt! B) **shakes fist Well, The PFC and tune is gunna cost me about $1600 anyway, so that beats my 1.3k this time around, I might even have to get a PRofec B-Specc II as well coz I have no boost controller at the mo . This is the most I have ever spent on my car in a short period of time though.
  5. cool, thanks
  6. Hey all, I just noticed one of my fluids needs a top up, but I don't know what it is.... I don't have a picture, but its a black cylindrical container near the AFM's and it has a dipstick inside it, but no indication what fluid to fill it with I guessed power steering, is this right? EDIT: sorry the car is an R32 GTR, so its the RB26 cheers B) Tom
  7. The E46 BMW M3 is my second most desired car ever, the most desired is either an AMV8 Vantage or an AM DB9 3rd is the R32 GTR, so theres only 1 way to go from here B) Cool Vid
  8. I have just finished a spending spree on my car today, ending with some discounted products from Supercheap (10-20% off stuff ). Heres my list for the month of Jan 15th-Feb15th (I get paid monthly on the 15th). I am still waiting on the top 4 things from Nengun, ordered 3 weeks ago today -Remote Oil Filter Kit -Apexi TT + Harness -Wheel Spacers -HICAS Lock Bar -DBA 4000 Rotors -Ferodo Front Pads, Lucas Rear Pads -Mobil 1 Engine Oil -Oil Filter (from Nissan) -Oil Flush, Radiator Flush, Brake Cleaner, Ultra Cool Radiator Coolant -Demineralised Water (5L, is that enough for the GTR cooling system?) TOTAL=$1,344 This month I hope to buy a PFC D-Jetro (+ Harness, Nipples & Sensors) and get the HICAS and TT fitted and the computer tuned. Good Fry B) Tom
  9. Theres a map location here: http://www.c-red.com.au/contact/index.shtml Did I mension I love Google Earth B)
  10. These were option upgrades with the Cheetah 777 that I got. I might go back and get them soon You also get a fridge magnet telling you to go back in a year for a checkup of some kind
  11. ah well, you can't win 'em all. I am gunna head down there to pick up the gear tomorrow afternoon. They don't know this yet, but my dad called them and they have all these things in stock now. First in best dressed (or is it stops quickest ). Thanks stuiE, I will get a quote from them to see how much...and N I B, the rubber in the cap is rotten , I ordered a new one from Nissan but how does the worn rubber indicate the BMC is buggered?
  12. no idea, only got quotes of the DBA 4000, 296mm rotor
  13. pffft $300ea I just checked the web site (page 67 of this) and theres a different choice for V-Spec skylines. You can get the 5000 series 324mm rotor instead of the 4000 series 296mm rotor for non V-Spec lines...
  14. OK, well the $300 a pair DBA's were just the standard driving brakes, I don't even think they were an x000 series. But I just got word back from Perth Brake Parts in Welshpool and they do street and racing performance DBA4000 slotted rotors, front and rear for $195ea They also recommended Formula Feroda brake pads for the front which were $130 a pair and just a cheap brand called Lucas for the rears which were $40 a pair (or $40 each, can't remember). So yeah, if you are after the 4000 series, which are recommended for GTR's because they are a higher grade steel , give Perth Brake Parts a call. I also found out that it was the DBA4000's from Top Racing @ $500 a pair cheers B) Tom
  15. Thanks for the Fire Exstinguisher info I noticed in the first post you have misspelled a word....is it INclude mispelled with an E or EXclude mispelled with an N?. Kind of ironic its worked out like that . Im guessing its include though. Also, where will that be fitted, passenger right leg side on centre console or can we chose?
  16. Thats the metallic blue right?! it doesn't look like an ordinary colour, has it got flakes/pearl throughit? also, how many litres would I take to respray your front bar? Did they tell you that?
  17. yeah, GTR's have a second muffler, removing it adds a little bit of noise I was told (kinda obvious), but I don't know if its legal or a good idea!! $300 total for 2 front rotors ($330 for 2 rear rotors). I don't know what the DBA rotors are, I guess your referring to the series! (ie 4000's etc..) I will try and find out today and let you know. BTW that was direct from DBA over east. I'll also find out what the other rotors were for $500 a pair...
  18. They are priced that low for a reason, don't spend less than $20k on an R32 GTR unless you have the time for some maintenace (as low as $14K, EXPECT a rebuild), after the 8+ weeks of waiting, before you get it on the road over here... . Ask an import for GRADE 4 or higher only Sell the bunky and get a skyline quick
  19. Happy Birthday buddy, have you stopped drivin today? ....Ossie, WTF is with your sig gif?
  20. you have to do that to keep the computers/suspension along with the engine awake.. B) Is this the 443hp GTR?
  21. I just got a quote back from a workshop, not including labour, for the following: Slotted Rotors x2 - $500 (no idea what they are yet)(or I can wait 2 weeks and get 2xDBA slotted rotors for $300) Pads x2 - $135 Master Cylinder - $195 Power Steering Boot x1 - $35 Power Steering Pump - $? no price Centre Muffler leaking, replace with straight pipe - $90 I have done brake pads before and rotors don't sound that hard to replace either. The master cylinder was reported leaaking because there was a bit of paint stripped away beneath it, it looks fine otherwise. My guess is i could save a lot on labour cost if I do this myself, right?! cheers B)
  22. Hills cruise, nice, I went on one with Mirkz and a couple-a other guys a few months back the run down the hill was awesome. Tobad my car is inferior to that one immensly sharp hairpin turn (3 point turns for me) Was he a random, do you know dan? Is he an SAU member?
  23. can you only get the Nissan brand oil filters from the Nissan dealerships? ....for an R32 GTR, so equivelant to the Z145A
  24. The guys at Action Alarms integrated my turbo timer into the alarm as well . I am not sure whether this was an extra feature from the lower models or not..... Very clean install as well, I would recommended them Action Alarms
  25. Skylines are made by Nissan in Japan  Nobody 'wants' a non turbo Skyline but it just sometimes works out that way because of the cost. A decent R33 GTS-t should set you back a cool $16,000....less if imported. And remember, use search before asking questions. No n00b can be told a more useful thing B) Welcome to the club
