  1. OK, I have sourced a pretty decent TT from Nengun. HKS Type-1 (TT, 1/4mile, 60ft, rpm, speed reminder, shift light.....) http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/189 comments? Also, if I get this who could install it for me?. I am guessing this would be a complicated install because of the amount of features this TT has! thanks
  2. I thought the only place to get an import complianced was in Brisbane where the hell did I get that from then?
  3. all imports have to go to Brisbane for compliancing....
  4. true, I found mine local to me with around $8000 of receipts for repairs/maintenace and a full rebuild. Ask to view receipts. Other expenses: Stamp Duty (mine was $1000) New Tyres (looking at ~$800 for 17") Rego (if its due) Insurance ($2200+ for full comp, for under 25's) you can get them as cheap as ~$16,000 now, but they are that price for a reason
  5. Hi all When I bought my car the guy had a set of rear wheel bearings that were not fitted to the car (at the time of his rebuild -- it just has a comment "ran out of time" on the sheet). I was wondering of anyone has had to replace theirs before and if its a job for a workshop or easy enough to go at alone! cheers
  6. awesome, cheers viet boi Mitchy: thats not good , did you decapitate any men during their midlife crisis driving a red, convertible MX5?
  7. XBOX360 has better graphics and is basically PC inter-related because of Microsof development and Live!, but I like underdogs and the PS3 is an underdog in the console playing field B) I also have pretty much ALL my mates to rely on getting an XBOX360 so wither way I am gunna enjoy playing both consoles
  8. is that update ratio to do with the computer? and can be increased with an Apexi PFC upgrade?. Front torque has never really bothered me, it onlt jumps up with quick accel from the line...my tyres are pretty good and I never step-out and need it to correct me
  9. hmm, sounds like a good idea, but this piece isn't flat, it has indents and curves in it....I'd have no idea how to make it myself. I'll try Nissan tomorrow to find out the price
  10. I need an undercar guard for my GTR, you can notice in this picture from the cruise it is hanging down. While replacing my gearbox oil today I noticed that its snapped near a screw that was holding it up, so I was wondering where I could get one?, Nissan?
  11. mine is like that, but it takes a damn while to come good. I mean like 45+ seconds before its normal and then throughout a drive its good
  12. Hmm, I am having problems with my Master Cylinder too at the moment. Feels like theres air in the system and the pedal is really squishy before I start the car. I am pretty sure mine is just the seals and may just need a kit, and I can guarantee its gunna be more than $174 from Nissan in Perth
  13. well we should croooooozz through to shown 'em how its done B)
  14. damn, forgot to add the piston work , oh well, theres the $16k not including labor then
  15. I have a GTR and some other e-penis stuff that I'll keep to myself
  16. hey that was a mised turn coz the sign was behind a tree and the 4WD down there turned into the gardens as well behind 'Driver' and I had to move to let him in and...........yeah!
  17. pffft, who needs a copilot. I have done all my cruises alone (got lost on the last one) and had to lead the SAUWA cruise for most of the way....I managed alright
  18. and how come they all have really nice cars too, I mean theres at least 3 with 32 GTR's....
  19. Everyone has recommended SARD 700cc plugs to me, but you might want 770cc - 1000cc....... SARD 700's are around $700 and thats if you want to replace them yourself
  20. OK, so far I have come down to $9,570 worth of parts, all from Nengun including delivery cost (not including labor) and have seprated them into these 3 stages: Stage 1 -- $1,750 Power FC - APEXI Remote Oil Filter Cam Gears - TOMEI Adjustable Timing Belt - TOMEI Stage 2 -- $1,758 Injectors - SARD 700CC Fuel Pump - NISMO AFM's (might move this to Stage 1 and get a water pump here. But my car doea already have a newish water pump) Oil Catch Can Stage 3 -- $6,062 Camshafts - TOMEI (IN260deg / EX260deg / L9.15mm) Con Rods - TOMEI Forged H-beam Turbos - Garrett GT2530 (or GT-RS - GTR Turbos?, only an extra $200 to get them delivered from Nengun) I might get onto X-Speed or Hyperdrive (Perth locals) and ask about tuning the Power FC next year.
  21. More along the lines of I have no idea what your talking about....are you saying AFM's are better than map sensors or the other way around? I notice you describe them as being totally different, but not which would be the better application for my purpose
  22. ====================== ........ ........ ======================
  23. Is Ant on these forums? I spoke to him briefly about his car at the last cruise, but that was it...I knew his car had the D-Jetro, mad car B) PFC with AFM's sounds good for me anyway, I don't wanna have the D-Jetro tuned everytime I get something else done
  24. I need a new job Things I didn't encorporate: Guages (I have an Autometer boost guage) Intake (intercooler, induction pipe) Exhaust (it does have a 3" mandrel exhaust with a dump pipe at the moment) Turbos (the sheer size and cost of this upgrade) Pistons (I did look at these, but left them off the list for some reason...) So would it be easier/cheaper/more relaible to get a PFC D-Jetro or a PFC and AFM's?....thats my biggest problem for stage 1 cheers
