  1. yes, you will have to get one of the smaller ones.... I have a tall yellow top optima and it doesnt fit in the standard spot under the bonnet.. and yes new battery clamps are needed as the standard ones are too small to fit onto the Optima

  3. I just bought one peoples.... you get an upgrade disc that you need to install first to version 2.0 as PhantomS14 said... I am waiting for it to charge right now because it wouls let you install with a low battery....45% battery and it still won't let me install
  4. I checked the crossover parts of the splits speakers inside the door and the terminals were a bit rusted from the rain water getting in! So I gave them a quick once over with sand paper and it seems to be much better... now my fronts are correct voume and the rears are a lower volume , oh well....

  11. the current firmware is 1.52, most people are changing that back to the 1.50 version to fix the problems
  12. I made a fake floor for my TX3 and that worked a treat in holding it down, it was carpetted in the sub box material nad my 12" in a box was perfectly stable even with hard cornering I am considering this for my GTR now because the spare wheel creates an annoying buldge in the boot and my sub would slide everywhere Velco to solve your problem, yes
  13. I just finished installing my amps and wiring in my car and now the bloddy thing is having problems! My 4 channel amp is only producing the right amount of power from channel 2. At first it was working fine and the all of a sudden the left speaker dropped in sound, still had sound just lower volume....I turned the car off an on again and the same thing happened....sound for a bit then I turned the volume up a bit and the sound dropped down again! So now I'm thinking WTF, I have wired it wrong, but no I swapped cables on the amp and both speakers work perfectly fine coming from channel 2, just the other channels are really quite compared to it. So at the mo I have it balanced to the left. But when I was messing about with that setup the speaker started crackling and the volume was trying to kick back in again. I gave the speaker a shake and it was doing it more. WTF is wrong here? cheers Tom
  14. I just found these things for those who can't be bothered making their own GT4 race seat. These are awesome http://www.hotseatinc.com/

  16. check the drop down list here: http://www.wheelspin.com.au/catalog/produc...products_id=448 the listed ON-110 is for the R32 GTS or GTS-t and the ON-115 is for the R32 GTR (and S13) OK, i beleive you guys that its the ON-110 for the R32 GTR, I got my info from wheelspin tho.....
  17. I have a DS, nothing special I thought, but I havent played Nintendogs either (spose to be a great game). I have Mario64 DS and have nearly completed it but it has gotten a tad boring.... I played that WANTED game and got 1069 score....also got boring so I let the 50 seconds run down.... I want a PSP, but the XBOX360 will be $100 cheap when thats released, which is also looking up to be great
  18. I'll give you $700 for a sticker if you reply
  19. I've already run the cables tho , just need to mount the amps and connect it all up...
  20. ah, the BOSS kit BTW is HBK ON-115, not the ON-110 The ON-110 is for the NON-HICAS GTS-ts (and GTS4's I think) The ON-115 is compatible with HICAS
  21. I will let you know....and take some pics when my dad has made this one, he is off work at the moment (does 4 on 4 off), but he took the measurements today...
  22. no, but I have run 2 gauge cable so I need 2 or 0 gauge connectors I have 2 Alpines. MRVF340 and an MRDM500 So Rampage is cheap shit!, I will steer clear then....I have been into Alberts, Audiocom, Car Stereo City, Strathfield, Supercheap and West Cost HiFi an NONE of them had anything other than 8 gauge.....WFT is up with that.....all these car stereo places have no calbing or accessories that I need, its been the same with the 2 gauge cable and a few other thing, taken me ages to get all this stuff
  23. I was in supercheap the other day and saw this rampage audio cables and connectors. I saw they had 8 gauge ring connectors, asked the chick at the counter if they did and bigger as I needed 2 gauge, but they only did the 8. Has anyone else seen/haerd of Rampage?, if so do they do 2 gauge ring connectors?, as I needs some ASAP for my stereo if theres any other brand (stinger, aerpro) that do quality ring connectors (these rampage ones looked really well made) let me know cheers Tom
  24. so what did you win then???? I get into a rut of not playing, then when I start up again I play regularly
  25. I voted Show?...dunno why!, maybe its because I already have enough go (for now) in my GTR.........
