Got a call yesterday from Robin @ Famous. She gave me $2700. When I mentioned that I had received other quotes and mentioned Just Cars had given me the same figure she immediately dropped it to $2500. I also asked about the monthly installments and how that works. I was quite happy. I was a little sketchy about the requirements thing for leaving it on the road things like that so I asked. She said it was primarily to prevent people leaving it on the street overnight while they slept. So it's one thing if you go out to a nightclub all night and leave it on the street, it's another if you crash a mates place and leave it on the street and it gets burged. I will read the fine print more closely but to be honest I'm almost definitely going with Famous I have to say. Shannon's were nice but they just couldn't help me. Robin at Famous was great. - J.

It's a sad fact your parents will always figure they know more than you. I've mad a lot of life decisions my parents never agreed with. Christ, I don't even live with them and I used to hear it too. One day, I got mad and said to them: "Look I'm gonna do this - with or without you. You can either be supportive and help me or not. It's your call. But at the end of the day, I'm gonna do this." This applies to just about anything. I said this line once. I realise this is the wrong forum and may get me cained but mechanically speaking, what are 300ZXs like? I know they go fast and I know they're a dime a dozen but I found on that looks clean us, mechanically sound with a full service history, etc. It looks immaculate and like everything I could want in a car. Just wanted to ask all the Nissan heads here and see what the general concensus is on these cars as a whole. I realise everyone will be biased towards the Skyline but this car I've found is a damn good buy. Thanks, - J.
