  1. LOL, car isn't at home right now... Even if you'd bother nicking them, it won't work on yours.
  2. I'm doing it also but for different reason...
  3. Big spender!
  4. I'd put Opel badge in a commo, just to see bogans reactions...
  5. Well, half of them is a mansion. Alex, did take a crack at 'cold calling' it's mainly miss due to my age (26 now), think I'll do it 2 ways.
  6. Dad's donations officer with seeing eye guide dog. Mum isn't working. Bro 1 labourer at the moment. Bro 2 works at Coles (my old work actually but in dairy).
  7. Alex, pardon my ignorance but what is 'business breakfast groups'? I've been applying for jobs without qualifications (only have pre-apprenticeship in plumbing) and wrote cover letter in accordance of said type of work - don't see the point in applying for a job that requires a qualification when you don't have decent one. Googled just then, and apparently I did what they recommend people to do - honestly, myself I THINK I could have done better with company profiling. Say if I want to chase my dream of being a plumber (honestly don't think it'd happen), I'd need to change my strategy with finding one. One of ways I'm told of is to put up my resume/cover letter on plumbing supplies stores - which meant I'd have to write generic which is apparently no-no.
  8. Yep...
  9. So, what I've learnt today is, job sites are filled with a job vacancy that they're forced to put it up by law even though they've employed someone. Thanks guys for the advice, especially the approaching the company with decent cover letters and such - off to google on how to write one.
  10. Hot wire it
  11. Hang on, what if the job is 'blue collar' wouldn't suit be bit wrong or?
  12. Also need to buy a suit. Damnit, shouldv'e of bought it when I was up in the UK.
  13. *sighs* time to re-learn how to write a cover letter...
  14. So I'd best off not looking thru seek/career one/etc?
  15. Folks, Tyres are sold and gone. Exhaust and tops still available and am taking offers for them. Cheerio Grant
  16. If this is the case, may as well write the job ad as 'I've hired someone and I'm forced to write this useless ad just cause the law told me so'
  17. Mum just told me of it. Annoying really.
  18. Trawling thru gumtree with no success. Worse case, go to TAFE/Uni to get some pointless qualification and try again.
  19. Again, not fussed whether it's P/T or F/T. Just want a job, simple as.
  20. Anything really.
  21. You'd be right.
  22. One thing that I don't understand that is they advertise like they need a worker urgently and when I contact them, they suddenly decide that they don't need one urgently. Happened to me 4 times today. What's up with that?
  23. Tony, nein as you'll need to spin the rollers somehow.
  24. Wiring shouldn't be changed when PFC is installed, they're plug n play straight to standard loom. Talk to Racepace and see what they got to say now.
  25. University Wasn't the case when I tried looking for replacement job before I left Coles.
