Martin, many thanks once again! Qatar - Boeing 777 only have power point in Business Class, however on Airbus A340-600 does have on all seats. Hmm... Decisions decisions...

Martin, thanks for the reply, you raised some valid points. Have you (or anyone) been in Qatar airlines? Prices are reasonable also the flight time including stop overs. The power socket on Cathay Pacfic sounds so handy for me... Need to find out the cost for this flight.

Thing is, I'm not looking to spend $ on stop overs cos I'd rather waste it in UK/Europe as I'll probably spend up to 2 years there - have work visa in the UK.

I have a dilemma, that is what way to go to London via. There's some of the routes enroute. Beijing Beijing & shanghai Dubai Abu Dhabi Bangkok & Cairo Kuala lumpar & Bangkok Hong kong And few places in middle east region including Jordan, Qatar. If go thru china, the flight will be the longest but it's whole heap cheaper. Hong Kong is pretty expensive - only available if using Qantas, Cathay Pacfic. I'm leaning towards middle east route unless I want to see if there's counterfeit goods on duty free in china. So far dad and both my brothers tried to talk me into staying Dubai for couple of nights... /tl:dr post.
