That being said, I never heard of one get defected (or told off) for no carpet. Some cars doesn't have one from factory so I'd say you should be right for not having a carpet.

Try starting the motor, pull one of the coilpack and see if the idle change - one at the time, if idle doesn't change that mean this coilpacks is failing. Borrow someone with a S2 Stagea or R34 coilpacks and see if it fixes it. Sounds like you have 3 of coilpacks that is failing - time for new coilpacks. Also pretty sure it's usually 1 or 2 that fail over time but not all of them unless someone have whole set failing.

Have you tried coilpacks? They're known to fail in NEO RB25.

Hi all, Up for sale is my mother's 1991 BMW 535i in White duco with Black leather. It has done approximately 320,000 kilometres, the engine is healthy, starts first and every time, tranmission is in excellent condition. It has been serviced recently. The body is in excellent condition apart from couple of noticeable dents and couple of small rust spots but they're fixable pretty easily. The interior is pretty good for its age (20 years old). Electronics including sunroof works like they should. Reason for her selling this lovely BMW is that the fact it isn't getting used as much she'd like to. Anyway, enough rambling on, should you want to pop in and inspect it, please SMS message me on 0430 129 511 to arrange an inspection. She's asking $5,000 for the BMW.
