  3. I could but, can't be arsed doing it and I feel it'd ruin the car with pointless spray job. Also the Midnight Purple GTR I wanted is long gone as I've posted earlier. BTW, it's no longer for sale but it might be up for sale in few weeks time (broken turbo and I'm in process of fixing it and doing 100,000km service on it). So in conculsion, this car is NO LONGER FOR SALE FOR THE TIME BEING. May be up for sale again or not (depending on how I feel when I've fixed it). Thanks for the interest. Cheers Grant

  7. I'd go for 235/40/18 or 245/40/18 depending on tyre. Will need to dial in some camber on top of rolling the guards.
  8. Hi all, As title states, I decided I want a set of Volk TE37, and I have 2 sets of wheels I need to get rid of before purchasing a set of TE37 I've been after. Pictures will be on this thread in between tomorrow and thursday. Set 1; 18x10 +19 AVS Model T5 in bronze. Some gutter rashes, paint peeling. Currently has a set of Bridgestone Playz tyres in 275/35/18 - I'd like to keep the tyres for TE37s. Asking price is $2,000 Set 2; 18x10 +19 Advan RA3-DT in black. Unbelievably light rims some marks on the lip of the rims, nothing major. No tyres. Asking price is $2,000 I'm located at Frankston South VIC, wouldn't mind posting as long you pay for it.   9. It'll fit straight in without rubbing on reasonably low, if more low, the wheels will 'camber' in. Also depends on tyre size, I've got 275/35/18 on 18x10 +19, I reckon I could whack 10mm spacers and it'll look good on mine. If you're worried about tyres rubbing on guards, get slighty smaller tyres and roll the guards.

  12. Hmm... That does make sense. I have pair of N1 on way to me and still hunting for PFC. Also buy new gaskets + studs and 100k service kit while I'm at it. Anyone have PFC (would be nice to have HC) want to sell it to me? And thanks to whoever posted on this topic. Cheers Grant
  13. At this point, I'm pretty much stuck. Should I have let it run for longer than 3-5 minutes to see if it goes away? So tempted to burn this stupid POS.
  14. Not that cold, but when I started the motor no white smoke, it appeared after 3-5 minutes, it got me wondering (and a bit worried).

  16. Hi all, Bit of a update, I decided to start it today. On the start up, I noticed it is bit too loud (or I haven't started it since last Tuesday and forgotten what it sounds like?), on idle, it reads at 1,300rpm. After few minutes, I noticed white smoke coming out of the exhaust I turned the car off straightway idle speed went down to 1,100rpm. So, white smoke coming out from exhaust means the turbo is shot?   17. If it clears standard 4 piston calipers up front, yeah. Also look at Ford Falcon rims, they're 5x114.3 too.

  21. Hehe, that is nothing compared what I'm facing... I think I'll blow up to $4k to get it back on road (new turbos, gaskets and studs, service kit, PFC + tune while I'm at it...). They're money pit alright!
  22. Yeh, forgot to mention you don't need a/m intercooler. In nutshell, the following modifications needed for 240-250rwkw are; Power FC (or aftermarket ECU) and tune Dump back exhaust at least 3" Removing boost restrictor 'bung' - instant 14psi without boost controller Good quality panel filter in standard airbox These are all you needed.
